Semifinal Battle is high on my list of most-played video game songs, and everything else you've released for Burning Colosseum is so faithful to the source material. Because of that, my first experience with this track was, in a word, jarring. I've given it a couple more listens since then, though, and I've come to like what you did with it! I know the BC team requested you work in an XY-like style, and you definitely took that to heart; the changes you made to this piece, especially to the bass, guitar, and synth tones, give it an electro-rock feel that would feel right at home in an arena in Kalos. Now, there are some parts of the original that I'm always gonna miss - like pitch bends in the guitar and synth solos in places where your version lacks them - but that's just how this kind of cover goes. At the end of the day, although it's certainly not the super-faithful HD remix that I initially expected, your take on Semifinal Battle is a refreshing blend of the Gen 3 and Gen 6 styles that I only just realized I wanted. Great work once again!

I-I didn't think that it was possible to improve on the original...but this completely blows the original out of the water. The original is EASILY one of the best track in the franchise, but this, this elevates it to being on-par with ELDEN RING'S soundtrack minus the major boss themes in terms of quality. If Burning Collosseum comes out and this track isn't used, then it's an unforgivable sin.
