GG! Was indeed a very luck based settings that came down to a lucky set and the right turn order, which I both got there thanks to Purple not having a set and taking 2 much time to end his turn, that helped me a lot for sure. I was so certain that you had that game 2 in the bag, but sadly that miscalculation of 1 territory off costed you, which is a very high chance of happening, so yea, even though I feel bad you didn't get a chance to fully defend your Champ title, I'm still glad that I didn't get you in Finals, because you're extremely hard to deal with out of any other player (at least imo) and that's not to discredit others of course xD but yea, definitely crazy outcome I didn't expect. I also did not see the green kill coming on me because I thought It only would open up the board for the later sets to win and it was quite risky. Looking back on the run you did have it, the 31 in the middle only needs to kill 15 with a split, so if you make that a 20 to be safe. The 12 in the bottom left can be a 17, and hit my 4 in the top right through the portal, and your 19 can be a 25 and hit my 10 and the 7. And you'd be able double tap the 7. Which was really hard to see

Very luck-based settings with the openness of this map, especially with portals. Very close run in game 2, looked like you needed to allocate a few of those extra margins from the middle/left to first take out that green 9 on the right. Tough to know exactly how many territories you need in such a high pressure time crunch, though. The other players definitely embraced the advice you gave them after game 1!

Pentix probably knew he had no chance of getting another turn if he didn't win on his turn for the first game. If so then it makes sense to take a long time just to go over everything again and make sure he couldn't win on his turn.

If he is fast and xerokee feels too time pressured he can generally try to kill guard there and then pentix survives to trade. In general it's always good to instantly take your turn if you have no set it always gives you the best chance

Kylted, when sayin Pentex plays better you win, you don't look at it from his perspective but yours. Pentex is going to lose by either you or Xerekes, so either he takes no time and just gives you the game, or tries to spend time to see if there is an off chance he can hide in a corner. there is NO playing bad when you are about to lose to either one of the next two players, you have to spend time to see if there are other options to POSSIBLY survive

I answered this in another comment. His best possible chance to win is to pass immediately and give xerokee less time. And if xero feels too time pressured for the kill he may trade and kill guard from me. Which then results in pentix surviving to trade and having good winning chances. You will always have the best chance to survive with no trade on 4 if you take your turn in 1 second it is the correct play.
