only having watched these short clips once and applied them into my very first pool session, I got instant improvement, thanks sensei:) let's dig in further.. I felt less tired, covered more distance, synchronised better, I just couldn't help myself swimming freestyle, left aside all other movements I got used to do in my session.

Kicking on the opposite leg is so difficult for me to coordinate. I find it so easy to kick with on the same side I am entering my hand in the water. I need to train my brain to use the opposite leg. This along with breathing on both sides I have the hardest time learning.

i have a problem with my 2-beat kicking. I always kick the wrong leg, left instead of right ...right instead of left..is that a bad thing considering rotation?

Thank you for the helpful video instructions. I am 68years old, and just started learning swimming. Through the regular method, I was unable to progress as I got very tired. I am practicing by myself now, and the 2 beat kick and other body position and movements are helping me a lot. I have just one question. Should I start with regular fast kick, and move to 2 beat kick when I start at movements, or should I do 2 beat kick from the beginning of superman glide? Thank you once again.

Use flatter kick for the drills to raise the leg position. 2-beat kick is used for drills with multiple switches and freestyle.
