LMFAO Until I was retired, there was no such thing as a weather related reason to have a day off, from 1987 to 2020. No show meant no job, regardless the reason, State and Private employer alike. Too many folks today are but 3 steps from a mobility scooter... less a single injury. The folks making derogatory comments will be the first to complain when they cannot obtain a want in a retail setting or have food delivered in such conditions! Can't imagine life less the basic comprehension of matters such as Logistics and Stock Replenishment. When the Post Office is closed, folks are still in there casing and separating deliverables.

Officially, the National Weather Service defines a blizzard as a storm which contains large amounts of snow OR blowing snow, with winds in excess of 35 mph and visibilities of less than 1/4 mile for an extended period of time (at least 3 hours). 2 inches of snow can cause blizzard conditions....
