Hi Minnie, I never forget that you were the first person who reignited the spark n love in me for Art in sep 2019. I admire you from the core of my heart. So i wanted to tell u that I was so scared of being a mother thinking that i had to manage work, household, baby n my sanity at the same time. I felt i couldn't do all n be mentally calm as well. Then i got pregnant first time probably at the same time when u might get pregnant. But i resisted that time n got rid of that. Felt guilty bcz my husband was so happy that we were having baby. So i made my mind for having baby in near future n thought about it positively. Two months later i got pregnant again but this time i planned for it n took the full responsibility. I was happy this time n i delivered a baby boy in this September. When i saw you n many people whom i followed getting pregnant n having baby recently at the same time, it's weird, but i really felt supported. I felt as if God gave me sign in the form of people whom i admired n who got pregnant at the same when i also got pregnant.

Nice to see you again!!! It's a balancing act working with a baby, toddler until there is a block of time when they are actually in school with full day kindergarten!! Best of Luck!! My daughter had to get studio space outside her apartment. They do get into stuff once they start crawling/walking. She's 3ys now & LOVES mommy's art supplies! LOL

Lovely seeing you! ❤ A little heads up since you're reorganising anyway: keep in mind that in another couple of months baby will be crawling and opening every drawer and cupboard door she can reach plus emptying any open shelves. 😅 At that point you will either want to have things in them that you're ok with her grabbing and taking out all the time or consider installing baby proofing style locks.

Me: "Nooooo, not the Spirited Away book, Minnie, you've GOT to keep thaaaat!" LOL! I always love your tidying-of-art-supplies and rearranging stuff videos. It's therapy. Little Ro and her tambourine and that look to camera: aw-haw-haw. So cute. xx

I’m 40 weeks and a couple days and waiting for my baby to come and I just finished reorganizing my entire sewing room. This was the perfect video to watch 😂 loving the new Minnie mom content. So comforting 🥰

That high chair was some of the best money I've ever spent at Ikea. I got rid of a super expensive one someone gave me because it was impossible to clean and move around. Also, I've just moved for hopefully the last time ever and due to tight timelines I'm having to do the decluttering and donating AFTER we moved. All of those "I could make ____ out of this" things can go. It has been really helpful to have a timestamp of how long I've had things based on previous moves, and 99% of those "someday I could make" items have been moved at least twice, so in my experience it's worth it to donate/recycle/trash them now, especially when your time to make all that "someday" stuff mostly belongs to baby now.

OMG - the decluttering being moving of piles. I feel that in my soul. If you sold the sketchbooks you don't keep, you could make a small fortune.

Yeah I bet! I just find it so much easier to donate everything in one go.

Decluttering books is always a challenge, especiallyif the book was more costl. Glad that you and the baby are doing great!

Love a good organising vlog! We also live in a small space with a little one and it's fun how you keep getting creative with storage. Fingers crossed for your baby's naps, our little one also only slept 30-45 minutes and this never got better (only when she's super tired) and at 6 months she even went down to two short naps 😂
@minniesmall9 күн бұрын
Oh gosh, we're coming up to moving down to 2 naps as well 😂😂 It's comforting to know that it's not just us though! Glad you enjoyed the video xx

YESSSSSSSS me too.....my gosh since the baby was born I have felt like I'm just moving piles of stuff back and forth. My studio also had to migrate to another room and get smaller. Do you ever get the feeling that buying a bigger house is the only solution haha?

Do still have your art space at your moms? I hope that one day you'll get your art cave back!
@minniesmall6 күн бұрын
Thank you ☺️ I'm actually quite happy with having a more limited space to work in, it keeps things more focused. My space at my mum's is where I pack orders but I could definitely use it as a little art retreat, that's a great idea x

Wow! Young artists are interesting. I'd never get rid of my art (or cultural) books ever especially since books printed prior to 2000 are extremely difficult to find again (in good condition). If you can they'll more than like be extremely expensive. Same for certain art supplies (i.e. canvases). Don't you have a basement/cellar? If so move "extra" or off season things down there. Just sayin...
