Semper Fidelis - USMC West Coast Composite Band - 2010 Bandfest Pass in Review

United States Marine Corps West Coast Composite Band performing at the Pasadena Tournament of Roses Bandfest on Wednesday, December 30, 2009.
This fine band is composed of four Marine bands from Southern California - the Marine Band San Diego from the Marine Corps Recruit Depot, San Diego; the Third Marine Aircraft Wing Band from Marine Corps Air Station, Miramar; the First Marine Division Band from Camp Pendleton; and the Marine Corps Band Twentynine Palms from the Air Ground Combat Center in Twentynine Palms.

Susan Bradshaw I auditioned for it back in 1986. Didn’t make it but still enlisted and became a Marine anyway. I worked as a communicator. Overall it was an AMAZING experience!

I love the band and have watched them in the Rose parade for many years. I only wish they would use traditional snare drums instead of the ones that appear in this video. The overall sound would be more impressive.
