If we miss out on the Scudetto this year, it will be because our players make too many stupid decisions and pick up too many unnecessary cards. Both yellow and red.

Thiaw was more stupid than naive. But Milan loss to Juventus the same way we loss to Inter. Both teams sat back and let us have the ball and hit us on the counter attack. That counter attack caused the red card. We also always play bad after every international break. High pressing on low block teams that are good on counter attacking is suicide. Pioli is committing suicide over and over again and he doesn’t learn from it. At this point I’m over Pioli and I hope some coaching changes are made next season. Either De Zerbi or Francesco Farioli will be a great option for Milan. ❤

If we lose against Psg ( very possible) and Napoli ( possible) I expect the same treatment Garcia received from media for two weeks. Winning eventually against a decent club ( we didn’t so far) would be our turning point. I don’t see that coming. In my opinion we ll bundle up 70 or more points versus mediocre teams in the domestic league which be enough to assure us a spot for the next CL considering we will get some points else where with the others. That doesn’t meet our expectations at all .

I think the best point was given by Gazzetta dello Sport as you guys reported: Milan without a Plan B. 100% agree with Oli about De Zerbi. He's not as good as Pioli. He will evolve and Brighton is the perfect place for that. Pioli should stay, IMO until his contract is up (end 2025). Also, what are your thoughts on the lack of through-passes ? I'm SO sick of these crescent runs when in possession from left to right. We are just too conservative against low blocks. Check out the Barça goal vs Bilbao. The goal was good but the passes that lead up to it are what we need to be able to do.

One reason i love this podcast is cause you guys are generally pretty unbiased and spot on with your observations. But I have to say this podcast especially Madi with the constant Pioli bashing is a bit taxing. Saying things like he struggles against top sides or that he has no plan b is just wrong. He struggles against Inter. That's one top side. In the past we struggled against the weaker sides not the top sides. As for the plan b, it's hard to say that in a game where you play the majority with 10 men. It's insane that we are disappointed that we didn't beat Juve with 10 men and instead of seeing that as an indication of how far this team has come, we are sledging the manager. Who else could be bring in that could have won us the scudetto with that squad? Who do you think we can bring in now realistically who would do better than Pioli? We have won 7 out of 9 matches in the league. Yes Inter was bad and yes in hindsight against Juve the substitutions didn't work out but how can anyone predict that own goal? Yes we aren't perfect. We are a work in progress. Pioli isn't perfect either. He frustrates the life out of me sometimes. But this season he seems to be evolving and we are reaping the benefits of it. No he's not the best we can get. But for right now maybe he is great. One day we will attract top managers again. That day will come because of the work Pioli, the squad and upper management do now. Call him out when he messes up. But also give him credit for what he does right.

My question is why was Thiaw marking Kean in the first place. Fik usually plays LCB and you would want him on Kean in the first place. Thiaw should have been marking Milik. I'm assuming Thiaw was just a victim of circumstance as Fik was out of position? Also, Adli looked like shit? What?
