Pioli is a mad man. Playing Leao as CF. A position he clearly stated last season that he’s not comfortable playing as he feels he has more freedom on the wings. Then playing Musah at RW when Chukwueze is on form and on the bench. Pioli was right to drop Giroud but he should dropped an underperforming RLC as well. Milan front 4 should have been Leao, Okafor, Chukwueze with Pulisic in AM. It’s insane why he didn’t do that for the derby. I can’t wait for Pioli to leave. You cannot experiment with a new formation for such a big game. Pioli is sabotaging the team. Thiago Motta, Paulo Fonseca, Christophe Gaultier or Ruben Amorim are viable options to replace Pioli. Thiago Motta beat Roma and Inter with Bologna. A team that is not on the same quality level as Milan. This squad can do much better. Smh

I've been a diehard fan of this club for over 20 years and this is the most embarrassing thing i've ever had to go through. Even more than banter era. Having Inter win their 20th title that grants a second star IN SAN SIRO in front of all of our fans while our players played like its week 5 against Lecce. This is disgusting and everyone in the club should be ashamed of themselves.

Oli - chin up man. I understand - we all are very dejected. you've invested a lot of effort on Sempremilan and such capitulation does lay waste to not only current sporting outcomes but future outlook too. Nothing succeeds like success though - for Milan, the tangible aim (however distant it seems right now) *should be winning a CL very soon*. It will heal all wounds like nothing else could. One has to have a bold vision - particularly a club like Milan - being the best in Serie A is not what drives us the most. Having an Italian team win a CL before us or someone like a Bayern or Liverpool leaving us behind is going to be an outcome which really hurts us - not the outcome of this derby or the seconda stella (Milan won their first star approximately a decade after Inter did so one can even take it positively that we've made up the gap in the following years). I have limited hope on the management though - Cardinale is new and I am impressed by his boldness (even though sacking Maldini is the worst possible decision he could've made) - but I am highly circumspect of the people surrounding him i.e. our top management as well as what his actual financial interests and dependencies are. watch Lex Fridman's podcast with Bill Ackman - somewhere around 3/4th into the podcast, he speaks about what Elliott is - how ruthless their workings are (Gordon Singer in particular) - I suspect there's more to it (why he is unable to spend more). Anyways, I hope that Milan signs a better, well-known coach (and not some random upstart) - I am really fond of Conte - he has it in him to take the Milan project forward - he'll be able to gel together a good crop of Italian players within the team - and make them resilient fighters too - and he'll do well with us and improve his CL track record too. I am 20% excited about the future at this point in time - I hope Cardinale consults former Milan players prior to 2010 who have the best interests of Milan at heart and will be able to guide him to make the correct decisions. I hope (far-fetchedly) that he can reinstate Maldini.

Oli welcome to the true understanding of what we've built here. From a team with so much promise and starting to feel like Milan again to this.. a team where I literally don't care about more than 2-3 players on our entire roster... this guys is not Milan. We bought a whole slew of players this off-season and sold our only player with grinta (yes he's a weird gambling guy). Very lifeless times at Milan rn. Cardinale and his clowns need to go. The problem is that, its hard to find good players who are not spoiled, and who gives a fuck anymore. Its all about money and pleasing their agent .These young men in football today change club so often that they never get a sense of pride.

Inter always scores the same goals: corner/freekick or from the touchline get it to the penalty point. Always the same moves, and we always still concede... Inter are a simple team that do that simple thing very good. I don't believe that there's no way to ruin their game plan, it's just that Pioli isn't the guy to do that. Same Inter patterns, same Inter goals, same foolishness from our side. That's how you lose 6 in a row and a championship by at least 17p.

100%.. although Calabria is one of the few who respect Milan and is loyal to our club. I have been saying for months.. we need more Italian players!! Milan doesn't even look like an Italian team anymore! Just look at the most iconic players from our past. Baresi, Nesta, Maldini, Inzaghi, Gattuso, Massaro, Pirlo, Abate... not one of our current players are even near the level of these players.

Our core is not that young anymore: Leao (24), Theo (26), Mike (28), Tomori (26), Pulisic (25), RLC (28), Calabria (27). Most of them are about to reach their prime and more has to be demanded of them. Pioli is clearly not the guy for that.

Listen guys, this was a horrible week for milanisti. Honestly I wouldnt want to be in your position if the roles were reversed. But we've had our fair share of disappointments too. Losing a title and 2 Euro finals at the last match is heavy. What Milan needs. They need a Serie A experienced coach, this is a crunch moment for you. Conceicao or Motta, they are ready for a really big club. Porto has always been pain in the ass for everyone. The goal is to be balanced team, what this Milan is under Pioli is a chaos and every man for themselves. It will not work vs battleships like this Inter. We will continue dominate this fixture if Milan won't invest in top of the line coach. Don't try to gamble with VanBommel or other outsiders. Also AJ. You might be pain in the ass for your predictions and over the top confidence, but man , when the shit has hit the fan you'll turn up the next episode and you face the fire. 😂

Thing is people are gonna point the blame at 2 areas in this club. 1.) Pioli, while being a decent coach for stability, it should have never come to the point of renewing him for a longer and more expensive contract considering that we had seen his flaws even in the earlier years of his time at milan. When we lost in those unbeaten runs, we lost in bad fashion and it really showed that his team was mentally weak and he couldn't toughen up on them. 2.) Management, people think that if we now sack moncada,furlani and ibra. That well be magically good again, fans need to stop being so delusional. Moncada and furlani did great work, no matter how the season turned out, most of the players they brought in worked in the way they were supposed to. Okafor being an option off the bench and some starts that guarantees u a goal every couple of matches and hes done that and same goes with jovic, now rlc and pulisic have been better imo then we expected. Reijners and musah. Reijners is still adapting but hes having decent games. Musah is exactly what we expected and what Management expected. And young player with potential that if he plays good well sell on like we did with hauge. Chuku was the only one who you could say flopped but even he is showing his worth in recent games. Maldini wouldn't have brought in these players cuz he wouldn't have been trusted simple as that. He failed to address some key positions over the years(rw,cam,back up lb), plus his work on renewals only would gave got him sacked at other clubs. But the players need to get a finger pointed at them aswell imo, theo and leao walking around and not sticking to positions is ridiculous and out right upsetting. Alot of other players like giroud and calabria are no better. Imo if u make the most u should take the most amount of accountability when u play like prime niang. But nah our players play the victim card on social media and think that scoring a brace against lecce makes up for months of trash ass work and like olli said, if a good offer comes ship them off.

soldiers don't lose battles, generals do. you shouldn't expect to win cups with a coach that was brought to qualify us in CL. Pioli hasn't won anything until two years ago. on top of this you have a captain like Calabria who's the worst I've seen in my life as a motivator on the pitch. if you pay attention before games he's not the one who talks to the other players. I saw Theo, Maignan, Kjaer, Giroud, Florenzi doing it, but no Calabria. after first Roma game I said we'll be losing the next 4. we lost 2 and we were close to 1-4 against Sassuolo and I'm pretty sure we'll lose against Juve too.

As long as Pioli is fired after the season, i will consider this season a success. We have the talent to trophies RIGHT NOW, but Pioli is so tactically inept and so void of any kind of sane game management, that he is single handily holding this club back from reaching it's potential. He is by far, the worst manager in all of Europe. So thank you Roma and Inter, for FINALLY making Cardinale realize that Pioli is trash and must be sacked. Good riddance.

Inter are in financial trouble and Milan are on a much more stable financial footing, that’s an unarguable fact. At no point was it said that it would translate into immediate dominance on the field, but it should and that’s why the pressure is now on the ownership to deliver that. The head coaching appointment will be an indicator of that ambition.

Im pro Pioli, hes had a hard season considering all the injuries and trying to get a bunch of players who never played together before to gel. And we are still second! Lets be honest his scudetto winning team wasnt ideal either. I think hes done really well. Id have loved to see what he could get out of some high end, big name players. All that aside hes leaving now.. i honestly dont see another coach being able to do much with our current players. It will the the same bus with a different driver! I feel like we are going backwards.

RLC all season has been making those central runs and leao was going freedom not a true number 9 like in the past. Regardless it didn’t work. Musah was meant to pin back de marco. We adjusted and risked too many changes and new ideas. There was SOME logic but too high risk for little reward. Drop rlc leao left puli cam chuk right and okafor uptop would have been a better gamble. Especially as a counter attacking team. I do worry about the replacement us getting worse than napoli

At least we had started to build something with Pioli, yes some of his decisions were bad, but most of his squad are bad too! I fear we are going back to a Seedorf/Gattuso/Gianpaulo era. Another 11 years without a title. I don't think Pioli had much influence over our recent signings to be honest. If we could get some quality, experience and depth in the squad I think Pioli would do well. It wasn't long ago all these haters were singing Piolis on fire....
