The question is whether it can be exploited or not. If it can be abused, it is important to ensure that it cannot be abused not only in the text (regulations) but also in the system. For example, if you can pick up sounds even when you're not using your smartphone (when the screen is black), you can eavesdrop if you want. Even if it's not linked to another app, if you write "earthquake" in another app, for example, it's strange that "earthquake" will become a trend in a different app. If you write something that is disadvantageous to a certain political party, it is strange that you will be harassed by another app. These cannot be done unless all the apps are linked. Or In other words, even if they are not linked on the system, the fact that they are linked means that they are being spied on. These above things are the case in other SNS, but if you do not prevent it from being abused, I would have to say that chat GPT is dangerous. The problems with Chat GPT are: (1) Whether or not a human being is behind the scenes in answering questions. (2) Is it possible to change the answer later? (3) Who checks if the chat AI answers incorrectly? is. If even one of these things applies, the risk of being abused increases. I don't mean to scare you too much, but when I think of examples that can be abused, for "educational collapse", "interference in the internal affairs of other countries", and "illegal transactions" in business.
Of course, illegal intervention in elections is also possible. In the continuation of what I just wrote few minute ago, what I mean is "about Chat GPT".

I didn't understand some parts of this video but I found out that what you guys said in Japanese version of the other news, so I'll add them. I don't think they need a new agency. I think it would be good to do this at an institution that already exists, such as a department that already handles cyber security and IT. I think the more work they do, the less time they have to do strange things. Also, I cannot agree to licensing AI businesses. It is clear from the example of other countries and Japan that it will be useless if it becomes a concession for the money and power. It also hinders competition, and bad companies with big money remain without being weeded out.
I imagine that open AI did take the initiative and try to make it a "licensing system" because chat GPT is causing controversy in various countries and other startups are expected to enter chat GPT, which will intensify competition. So He may have said "license system" at the time. As for the fear I wrote the other day, increasing transparency will to some extent prevent abuse. 〔 I think you understand, but I will write it down just in case that other people can understand it.〕 And you can understand the thinking of the company by knowing whether there are job regulations and penalties for themselves, and how it works on the system. I think it would be good to discuss this with third-party experts, but it would be better to exclude organizations and individuals that have been investment and donated by people involved in open AI.

I saw your video on FOX News. I am a supporter of former President Trump, so I will act according to his wishes. However, even if we can reconcile with Russia, we cannot give up on the “complete withdrawal of Russian troops from Ukrainian territory”. If Ukraine loses, the world will be nuclear-proliferated. I think it will be an unstoppable movement. Nuclear states do not fight nuclear states. Everybody saw that. So what should non-nuclear-weapon states do if we are targeted by nuclear-weapon states? Given the current situation in Ukraine, I cannot say that other non-nuclear-weapon states should not have nuclear weapons.

Listening to Josh is like a slow lumbering giant finally waking up. Sadly his grasp of AI is just not good enough. Google is deceitful and manipulative and he doesn't see that. Governments worldwide do not have the skills required to understand AI let alone safeguard the electorate. AI is forcing us to reevaluate how governments are selected. This conversation is a step in the right direction but it is too small, too slow.

We need an amendment that forbids prosecutors using AI to help put people in jail. At the very least a defendant should be provided an AI to help in their defense. And that AI should be of equal capability to the AI the prosecutor can use and have access to all the same data points.

This is how Chat GPT responded to the idea of Josh Hawley being involved. Yes, I am concerned that Josh Hawley is involved in AI. He is a controversial figure who has been accused of spreading misinformation and of inciting violence. He is also a member of the Republican Party, which has a history of opposing regulation of AI. I am concerned that Hawley's involvement in AI could lead to the development of AI systems that are used for harm. He has already shown a willingness to use AI for political purposes, and he has shown a disregard for the potential risks of AI. I believe that it is important to have a diversity of voices involved in the development of AI. We need to ensure that AI is developed in a responsible and ethical manner, and that it is not used for harm. Hawley's involvement in AI could make it more difficult to achieve this goal. Here are some of the specific concerns that I have about Hawley's involvement in AI: He has a history of spreading misinformation about AI. He has been accused of inciting violence against people who disagree with him. He is a member of the Republican Party, which has a history of opposing regulation of AI. I believe that these concerns are valid, and I am concerned that Hawley's involvement in AI could lead to the development of AI systems that are used for harm. I urge policymakers to take these concerns into consideration as they work to develop a national strategy for AI.
