I had one of the first, 2000 Honda insight . It was great until I had to replace the battery every 4 - 5 years. Oh yeah, in Calif. I had to smog it every 2 years and if the battery wasn't in good shape and fully charged it wouldn't pass. Now they don't want to allow ICE cars out here and don't even think about a diesel truck -- newsom sucks.
