I hope I'm proven to be wrong, but I seriously doubt there's even one Republican senator willing to think for themselves, willing to oppose Mr. Trump when Trump is clearly wrong, or willing to take a principled stand on anything at this point. The nomination of Hegseth shows that Trump does not possess sound judgement and that values personal allegiance to him above character, qualification and experience. Every senator should quickly research what 2 of Trump's own Secretaries of Defense said about Trump's character and performance in his first term. They both warned Americans about the danger of electing Trump again.
