@Mark No, he laid it all out quite clearly what the problem is over the course of all the hearings and hes absolutely right. Its politics, the shoe always ends up on the other foot sooner or later and all of this treatment will be returned in kind eventually. Nobody said it was an anomaly to pick a judge in an election year. As you said its been done many times. Its also been done many times when the opposing party controlled the senate both ways. Republican senates have passed judges for dems and the other way around. It was Mitch and the rest of his do nothing but obstruct congress that decided that they wouldn't even have hearings for Garland because it was an election year. And Obama didn't pick a fucking far left atheist or some shit that had a hard-on for specific conservative values or laws. Garland is a down the middle centrist who is not only qualified but considered the epitome of what a SCOTUS should be. You can try to justify it or you can own it and tell the libs to cry about but either way it's going to come around and you won't even have a ground to stand on when it does.

They bailed on deals they helped design at the last minute multiple times, they blocked judge after judge, they held the country hostage by shutting the government down to try for force Obama to repeal his own Healthcare plan. Boehner owns all that and admits it. The ACA was basically a republican version of Healthcare and it was upheld over 10 times in court. Obama was even re-elected on it making it a mandate. Both have a duty simple as that. If one says fuck off (which McConnell did) then Garland should just have been appointed. Second: you're a hypocrite.
