Thanks for posting Mason. I'm in CA and found the exact battery as you did in Canada. FYI the seller is both on Amazon as well as eBay. Readers, just look for the seller or brand name as OALIKES which is common in both retail sites. One point I must mention is the fact since the replacement battery is slightly larger, one might have to, as I did, trim off a LITTLE foil from the 2 corners of the new battery, 2 corners opposite end of the wiring. Just a very little 45 deg cut of the foil in each corner. so the battery can better fit into case. Even then, it rests very close to the dial shaft on the other battery side. When you close the case up, before screwing down, press the cases together firmly so the gasket visually fits in and the upper and lower plastic case meet. Then screw down slowly and securely being sure NOT to over-tighten. Thanks again for your excellent video.

Thanks Steve, some good pointers there. I have heard of the foil needing to be trimmed but mine was fine for some reason. Good to know you made it fit 👍

@DrifterDon2 жыл бұрын
@@masonsadv The switch to the 750mah went almost flawlessly. The 750 is slightly smaller and thinner so installation was easy. The amusing part was getting the old 650 battery out. It would not come out. Careful inspection showed it was taped to the circuit board with two-sided tape. Also the jog wheel wouldn't pry up gently, but came off with the shell. I gave the reassembled unit a full charge and everything seems to be working fine.

I couldn't find any videos specific for my 10s, but the construction is very similar. This worked perfectly and was easy to do. Why won't Sena tell their customers this? I can only surmise that they want to sell you another new unit or in my case they offered a discount on the inferior 30K when I wanted the 50S. Also due to pandemic they won't ship to Canada. Sena 20s Works without a battery and not being plugged in. Battery status says full when I check. How is that for you? We were having problems with one of our units. It shut down and couldn't get it to turn back on. Series of blinking lights is all we could get. Tried to update it but after the update it said update again. So it wasn't accepting the update. Saw your video, thank you very much for your work. Ordered a battery tried to replace it same issue. For whatever reason I thought maybe I would take out the battery and try to turn it on to relieve it of any electrical charge that maybe still in there. And somehow get it to reset. To my surprise, and amazement, it is working and has been working for about 30 minutes now. Paired up, playing music... WORKING WITHOUT A BATTERY! ???????? Currently afraid to turn it off and try to update it and put the battery back in. I really don't know what to do...

I purchased some new footpeg mounts that lower the pegs 1.5” but would also like to get some risers. I noticed rox makes upto a 3.5” riser.
