I've had this for over a year now, ride every day, and it has worked like a champ. I bought it to interact with my iphone and garmin zumo and to listen to music and it has been flawless. I fooled around with the settings etc when I first bought it, but since then, I have just used it and it hasn't lost connection or anything. I have it mounted on an LS2 helmet and the speaker/mic install was easy. Music and audio is decent, but with my helmet drowns out at higher speeds. I charge it about once a month. I think it nails a good comm system that has all of the features (bluetooth, intercom, music, siri, FM radio) but at a reasonable price. I haven't used the intercom yet. If this ever fails or gets lost, I will replace it with another 5S.

Good review Im thinking to purchase one of those but not sure, bluethoot 5.0 is a good improvement but I will like to have good sound to listen music even with earplugs, do you think has enough volume and bass or do I better wgo for a freecom with JBL speaker?

At full volume with earplugs, the speakers are definitely loud enough to listen. Not sure about the quality because the earplugs distort the sound. So it's subjective... Order from Amazon they'll take it back. But I think you'll like it. These are actually upgraded earpieces than the smh5. I believe they are including the speakers that are included in the s line ... 10s 20s etc. If you are debating between smh5 and S5 if the 30 bucks difference doesn't bother you I wouldn't even think twice and get the 5s. It also can connect to 4 intercoms vs 2.

Can you hear music through ear bplugs at about 90-95 mph?

Hey! What about battery? On the Web site, the talking time is 7 hour. Is it the same listining the music time? İ think that listening time is like 9 hour. What dou you think? Thanks a lot.

If I had to guess, I would say same or a little less than talk time. I didn't test that. (frankly it's something that would be really hard to test accurately)

Do you have to be hooked to a computer to do everything off the app or can you do it off a Smartphone?

Smartphone! That's the only advantage it has over the smh5.

It should be able to depending on the other device. BUT, i wouldn't bother even trying.
