The 2020 Québec Provincial Road Cycling Championship was the perfect opportunity
for a motorcycling adventure in Québec. I packed my road bike onto the 2x2 Cycles bicycle rack for motorcycles, and left Montréal after breakfast.
The route took me north-east along the St Lawrence River, and offered some spectacular views, a boat ride, an obligatory icecream stop... and the realization that I'd made a big mistake, just before arriving in Baie Comeau. That didn't stop me from visiting Manic-2, a hydroelectric dam, philosophizing in a remote forest clearing, finding a few bottles of Red Champagne, and perhaps finding a victory...
Being a professional cyclist looks different during the unprecedented 2020 season, and that's actually okay!
