Sena Bike Helmets Explained

We met up with the Sena guys at the Philly Bike Expo and went over their line of Smart Helmets. Take a look and see what they're all about!
We put on a couple and tried them out during the show. Defiantly a great way to communicate on a ride!

I have four Sena R1 Helmets and have never been able to successfully establish the group intercom feature. When I press the -/+ buttons after connecting all four helmets I only get ‘intercom failed please try again’. I would love to see a comment from anyone who has ever successfully connected four helmets via intercom ….

We got two from Amazon. They work ok, but one was delivered with all the prompts in German. It is taking quite a bit of time just to find out if it can be switched to English - it’s not on the configuration menu (as best we can understand it. Lol)

Meh, we just yell and shout at each other while we ride... It’s so much more fun and keeps the ride real.
