Part 1 trio barely lasted as long as I expected for their price tag.

I think the real problem with the power creep is how u can’t rlly substitute part 1 valks for missing pieces, and if u do, it’s significantly less effective and more clunky. It’ll be less of a problem in a year when we have 8 or so more options for teams but it’s not great rn. Not to mention that all new valks are seemingly gonna be S Ranks :/. The weapon rates are rlly bad too but that’s another issue

HI3 in game economy is really harsh. Unable to keep up as light spender. plus 2.0 valk does not really resonate with me personally to fully invest.

Yeah, it's pretty much why i stopped playing, whenever a new valkyrie releases you're kinda forced to get them if you wanna keep up, it's even worse when they add enemies with new types of shields or mechanics and they lock the counter to that shield/mechanic behind their newest valkyries. You're straight up at a disadvantage if you don't have the newest s rank. That's why imo HI3rd is hoyo's most predatory gacha

@@Schiso13 Your kinda wrong on that because new mechanics they will always release a free call like Kira for hp clog or raven was for img power creep is not even real you can still use of trio on this boss it is not like your getting 2 points Narvana isn't that hard unless your a meta slave them power creep is real and Elysian realm exists

You need to understand that part 2 is basically a new launch to the game so the new valks will quickly surpass the older generation.

Honestly Im thankful for that. I already wasted a lot of crystal Hofi weapon and Hotr mid piece n never got them. Without those equips, my herrscher trio feels really weak. Thankyou Hoyo for giving me this new gacha system and characters.

Same. I have 3 HoFi's weapons, 2 Ts and 3 Bs. I dont think its even worth chasing that M piece anymore. RIP

I see, with a catch huh, S2 senadina and SS thelema, but yeah, this boss supposed to be the trio img team, damn they got 700 is real good but with a similar ranks, (trio * (S rank)) in compare to this team Sena(S0), Helia(SSS "considering this is f2p friendly character" ), Thelema(S) (upon consideration of weapon resonance avg of 2), they both achieve fairly similar in scorewise, (upon seeing through the abyss rank as of now 22;53 PM GMT+8) actually i dont quite know on how far the difference between it with the same ranks as i mentioned, but the captain's capability on commanding the valks and also the difference between the ranks of the elfs / Astral Ring companion also contributes on the score, so i cant say for sure. *HAHA there is no ideal condition eh bruh (* haha i know what i put here is very ironic but yeah you can try to analyze the leader board in the myriad section and you will see a lots of differences there)

Anyone who hates powercreep basically aren't veteran players or players who barely caps score in both RL and Nirvana. DPS Valks' life expectancy is only 1 year at max after Superstring Dimension was released, with some exceptions like HoR and HoT that got DK treatment. It's been a year since Trio was released and it actually shows how bad they perform now, disturbance jumped really high these couple of months and they barely kept up even with the 25 Fire DMG Buff and the Turg TB Aslaug M strat for HoO set only keeps them alive for a couple of months. Even if a Valk is still good after 1 year and has no one replacing or powercreeping them, their boss rarely appears and when they do other Valks that aren't supposed to be used there is the new one for cap score (example is Herrschers Trio taking Ignite Parvati before FoV was released release from DA, and SW taking Lightning Husk from Jonin and HoT before Aponia was released.) Edit : I should have invest more on Helia since Sena won't work the most efficient without her. Well for now I cope with Coralie and Thelema or HoTr and Eden as her support.

Honestly little worried about how fast trio got powercrept, i get why it did but this is not gonna be good long term, i doubt the game got enough returns on this Like sure it made the game more newbie accesible but did u get enough newbies to outweigh pissing off probably at least half of the old ones that spent money on the trio

I dont think senadina team powercrept HoTrio team in this specifc fight. I saw another video where HoTrio still got higher score than senadina team

@@pinkinglily6447 9S Sena-Thelema-Helia actually beat 9S HoFi Trio by 2 points for SEA. And apparently in JP Server the gap is wider by 10 points.

Crazy how the supposed "strongest Valks that would clear any content" aren't even capable of efficiently clear their own content. Bronya is the only one who keeps winning, and I love it.

2:35 how do you instantly get rid of the shield? I don't have Sonque so i can't finish it in time before the shields come and these are pretty hard to get rid of for me

I know people are upset over power creep in this game, definitely a lot more lately than in the past. But a lot of it just is bias. People are going to be more attached to the Part 1 trio and thus, be more upset when they get powercrept. At the same time however, their bosses already haven't been appearing as often until now anyway. Mihoyo never promised they were going to be some sort of special exception in the meta. They fall victim to the same rules every other characters in the game did meta wise. And to be quite fair to them, they retained top score on all their bosses for much longer than other DPS did. Slightly over a year. Honkai Impact 3rd runs on powercreep, it has for years, and this simply will not change. This is why pulling on newer units is an objectively better move for an account efficiency standpoint than pulling on older units in 90% of cases. Very few exceptions. If that ruins your enjoyment of the game, stop worrying/carrying about meta and stick to lower abyss brackets. I'll bet money that most people who complain about this don't chase after top scores anyway, and will still be able to retain old weathers with Herrscher trio just fine.

Exactly. The people that chase after top scores mostly are spenders anyways. They will just 4/4 the newest valk like nothing lol. For f2ps and low spenders, it's recommended to just enjoy the game and don't care so much about the meta. You're NEVER beating the dolphins and whales anyways. If you have full gear P1 trio, RL is still easily retainable.

Exactly. An as an addition, Part 2 is supposed to be a bridge for new players to catch up, with how the game operates having them powercreeping most P1 Valks allows them to catch up to us meta wise (well not really since they still have to break through, but it does help them in Q-Manfold).

@@mleong75 the thing is, either I'm unlucky, or now game really require more donate nowadays? Maybe because we have 3 S-rang in a row + A-rang + Songque, which is a lot. Hopefully developers will slow down a bit, because it's becoming quite expensive to keep up, and this is frustrating.

This is great advice, being f2p and chasing the top only develops a hatred to the game in my experience, I'll go for meta sometimes if it's a special case like senadina that adds a whole new kind of play to the game, but going for personal interest first with some smart meta decisions to maintain decent ranks is the way to go for low spenders and f2ps. It's a shame a p2w game has such a competitive aspect.

Weapon. For part 1 character, you can stop pulling gacha once you get the weapon. Stigma droprate is lower. For part 2 characters, stigma has high droprate. You can get full stigma just with 20-30 pulls. Weapon is guaranteed in 60

Didn't bother to look at the beginner guide and now I'm getting 4000 points in red lotus with full gear Thelema and Hofi, I feel like such a sigma right now
