And yet, they keep winning contracts without being blacklisted or given stricter rules and oversight. Road construction companies should be at their very best to keep a tight competition and thereafter fight for the award of contracts but what we have is money changing hands. We have more orators than leaders. We are still talking about roads at this time. Any ways,i celebrate your quantum cerebral wealth. But I must say that result speaks for itself. I wonder why Nigeria is yet to see steady power supply in different locations in the country. What happened to the prepaid metres? These Rigmaroles will take us no way. Reduce Fashola' work load and get other hands. The president and the NASS remain the engine of a responsible economy and that's where the problem of Nigeria is. So, where are all the recovered loots in dollars and hundreds of millions hhhhm.... Every persons has mentioned capital issues.

The states have been given the choice to provide electricity. Why are you not blaming your state governor, and your legislature? It is not everything that the federal govt should handle.

Lyon Dynasty I am sorry if I triggered your emotional imbalance. I agree that Nigeria should practice true federalism but if a state cannot manage the little being given, how can we trust them with more. The same energy you channel to Federal Govt, could you use that to hold the States accountable. You can disagree with my point but don’t be angry or ignorant.

All the comments praising Fashole are over hyped, i guess most Nigerian aren't used to individuals who can speak in an articulate manner. The man has performed averagely at the very best, after 4 years of been Minister he articulately listed the problems faced, but the solutions implemented are just not good enough. Hit the like button if you agree.

There are so many questions about unfulfilled promises regarding this ministry; trust Fashola with his persuasive narratives to soothe the Senators that everything is under control: Political display of under achievement!
@msjoy4315 жыл бұрын
This is not about unfulfilled promises but what is possible to achieve. He is explaining what has been achieved and you call that persuasive words. When assessing achievements, this things done can speak without the need to sweet talk anyone.

@@msjoy431 After his beautiful explanations of projects his ministry have achieved; 95% of the senators are on their feets questioning completions of projects, others yet to start after money had been earmarked. Pls take your time on the show without necessary sentiments.

He's simply speaking to ignoramuses that have no idea how politics work and how policies affect the people, them included! Their only claim to political clout is how to steal funds. Imagine one of the senators bringing in investors to supply solar power at 11 cents when in Zimbabwe or Zambia (can't remember which) they were being supplied for 6 cents? And he had the guts to complain about the fact that his investors were frustrated? These bastards are each individually looking for additional ways to milk the average Nigerian whom they are supposed to be fighting for, like Nigerians are not being tasked enough? It is absolutely irritating to know that majority of these illiterates in the house have no idea about how the Nigerian constitution works. They passed the law allowing for the privatization of power distribution in Nigeria without knowing the implications? What a bunch of idiots!
