Compared to other ministers, this man had his facts, numbers, and seems to be hands-on. I was highly impressed with his composure, the manner in which he answered his questions intelligently without an assistant. Give him his due! 3 ministries such as housing, power and roads are too much for one man. The opposition failed to grill him if they had anything on him. As a Lagosian who does not suffer fools gladly, he was impressive and l pray that every returning minister is treated the same way💕💕💕.

As for me i just appreciate the fact that he has grasp of what he is overseeing, he has visited almost every spot, personally supervised the closure of third mainland, e.t.c . Instead, he stated less relevant projects, with most uncompleted. Now, he's no longer handling the Power Sector.

With respect to the issues of roads, I do not believe there is enough competition among the road construction companies in Nigeria. Watching Julius Berger/RCC construct roads in ways that wouldn't be allowed in developed countries is sad. And yet, they keep winning contracts without being blacklisted or given stricter rules and oversight. Road construction companies should be at their very best to keep a tight competition and thereafter fight for the award of contracts but what we have is money changing hands. Power generation should be zoned and have guided investments/regulations. We should not by any standards be where we are right now. It is just absurd and unbelievable that we are where we are. @@tinaomaivboje4849 So if I follow your analogy we can appoint a lawyer to head Ministry of health or Justice. See the reason Nigeria and black nations are behind is that we don't respect Engineering which is what is used to generate every technology around us. Power is more critical than the above two Ministries but we send a lawyer to head it and he is busying doing what lawyer does best talk talk no results. Then we expect light. D best power engineer in the land should be heading that ministry period.

Nigeria main problem is not funding but management and corruption! Ministry of works have maintenance units to keep the roads usable, but they do almost nothing while their equipment get rusted and the road kills Nigerians. By the time contracted roads are done others previously finished are in terrible conditions. We need someone to get to the basics and fix these ministries before pouring billions to be wasted into them.

We have more orators than leaders. We are still talking about roads at this time. Any ways,i celebrate your quantum cerebral wealth. But I must say that result speaks for itself. I wonder why Nigeria is yet to see steady power supply in different locations in the country. What happened to the prepaid metres? These Rigmaroles will take us no way. Reduce Fashola' work load and get other hands. The president and the NASS remain the engine of a responsible economy and that's where the problem of Nigeria is. So, where are all the recovered loots in dollars and hundreds of millions hhhhm.... Every persons has mentioned capital issues.

He's simply speaking to ignoramuses that have no idea how politics work and how policies affect the people, them included! Their only claim to political clout is how to steal funds. Imagine one of the senators bringing in investors to supply solar power at 11 cents when in Zimbabwe or Zambia (can't remember which) they were being supplied for 6 cents? And he had the guts to complain about the fact that his investors were frustrated? These bastards are each individually looking for additional ways to milk the average Nigerian whom they are supposed to be fighting for, like Nigerians are not being tasked enough? It is absolutely irritating to know that majority of these illiterates in the house have no idea about how the Nigerian constitution works. They passed the law allowing for the privatization of power distribution in Nigeria without knowing the implications? What a bunch of idiots!
