Its right to prosecute or file charges against the retired police officer, but, really you need to have a 4 hour senate hearing, to discuss it. Stuff like these should be handled but not by a group of senators, complete with medIa coverage, staff, the works. Just file charges and let it go to the court. Instead they go back and forth, over and over when the video is already there, its not like it needs an explanation. There are way way way more pressing matters and concerns that the government and the senators should be concentrating on. We have problems with salt, rice, onion, basic necessities, and this is what they are doing.

Honorable Sen Pia Cayetano, maam isali nyo na po ang mga sidewalks na ginagawang extension ng vulcanizing shops, display area ng mga pagawaan ng stainless finished products, display area ng 2nd hand car parts, and many more. Ang mga naglalakd sa sidewalks doon na dumadaan sa kalsada. Marami ganyan dito sa Davao even in national roads. Thank you po.

Why was the hearing focused only on lack of amendments for the safety of cyclists and carrying of firearms. I hope they also discussed the injustice system in the Philippines, why the oppressed do not want to file any charges. It's always the small people who suffer injustice. I cannot accept that this incident ended only with the question, "What moral lessons have you learned? Kudos to Atty. Fortun, very well said.

Im a mom of three and doing bike to work atleast 2 to 3 times a week. Marami po hindi naman lahat po tlaga ang walang pakielam na driver sa mga siklista sa bike lane, I mean pinapasok nila ang mga sasakyan either private, taxi, jeep sa loob ng bike lane not thinking na any moment meron sila pwedeng masagi na biker/cyclist. Ganyan sila walang respeto sa bike lane... Sana ma solusyunan ang pagkakaron ng Safety Bike lanes all over the Philippines. Even motorcycle sila pa bubusina samin mga cyclist. Kaya nakakataba ng puso na minsan may mga sasakyan din naman na tlagang sila pa magpapauna sayo. Salute to them. But yun nga hindi lahat. Mapapaaway ka tlaga kapag pinatulan mo.
