The question is, why the sudden change of heart? Could it be because of the coming governorship elections in the state? I remember driving through this road in the mid 1990s on my way to Abuja. It is a vital link-road that connects and opens up Edo State to the middle belt and the north. This singular act of championing the construction of Benin-Auchi road clearly demonstrates that Senator Okpebholo will be an active, agile , and results oriented governor.
