I lost a cousin to cancer and her brother managed to survive brain cancer though it has left him severely disabled, they grew up along Coldwater Creek in Missouri. It boggles my mind the billions of dollars sent overseas when our own citizens have waited DECADES for help and have been gaslit every step of the way while they watched loved ones suffer and die!!! @@andrewh8360 If the union breaks up, Hawley would have a good shot of being elected, but in a union with all these democrats poisoning people's minds it's not really possible for him to win the POTUS race unless there is a large religious revival (but can't revive the dead who were never alive, immigration has changed the makeup of our people such that you can't really revive people that were never alive, never part of the faith, etc.) Civil war is likely at this point, Trump may delay it 4 years but we have irrevocable differences in this abusive union where both sides are going to have to weaponize justice against each other, then use blanket pardons to give themselves immunity from consequences, so of course the Republic can't function like that and civil war is immensely likely now, let's hope we have a peaceful breakup of the union but I don't see that happening.

I am afflicted now with a nerve disorder that cannot seem to be determined what is causing it nor how to treat it. At 82 years old I don't care much anymore I just want it to end. I worked on the Weldon Spring project down by Morrison Knudsen doing environmental clean for the DOE. The DOE signed off that the lining of the disposal cell would last only 50 years. I always wondered what would happen to people living above the area covered up w dirt if they could survive. Houses were built, schools were built, parks built. Well, I got my answer… they die, the DOE knew this but, continued on.

Sen. Hawley is one of our nation’s finest elected leaders. As usual, he makes a persuasive case on behalf of the people he represents. While I don’t know much about the issue, it seems the first priority should be to clean up the nuclear waste and restore the water and land as much as possible. Compensating residents might be appropriate as well, at least for the cost of their medical care for radiation poisoning, and if so I’m all for that; but it won’t fix the problem or prevent another generation of residents from suffering the same illnesses.

I’m from Utah and I want everyone to know that this is 💯 unacceptable. I think everyone should also know that @repcelestemalloy represents Utah’s 2nd district, the one in question. @repjohncurtis represents SE Utah. Personally, I’m going to go ahead and voice my concerns to Utah’s two other U.S. House members, Burgess Owens and Blake Moore. The reason we elected DJT was to get this country back on track. There are plenty of Republicans treating the swamp like it’s their own personal day spa and I am fine with calling out their bs. Sure they have help from House leadership, but nobody is going to convince me that this wasn’t concocted by people in Utah. Plenty of citizens in my state suffered and still suffer from nuclear radiation and they deserve to be compensated just like the others in Missouri and other states.
