Great speech. Should be required viewing in high schools. As to why America hasn't adopted the same rules as the rest of the world, follow the money.

Actually the 3/5th vote was to limit the number of US representatives in the house by counting slaves who had no rights, much like the unborn.

Lily was born at less than 20 weeks and weighed one pound with no need for Medical treatment of any kind. She as a child at less than 20 weeks.

There is either unconditional LOVE for a child, no matter what, or unconditional hate. People put all they hate on an unborn child and cannot see that this is a miracle, a promise for the future to have a chance to make this world a better place. Killing a baby is like destroying your very own future, any hopes and dreams, and if someone makes this "choice" to kill their own children, its among the biggest crimes of humanity. There is nothing to forgive. People that murder their own children are either dangerously ignorant and/or complete mad and threat to the nation itself. You fear terrorists ? Killing your own children is a much more cruel terror. A women that can make that choice and not care at all, is a hull, empty soulless vessel. Any child no matter what deserves the unconditional love of their parents. And its the job of any nation to treasure and value their children, at any cost, no questions asked. A death penalty for the innocent is unforgivable.

Senator, I do not know what state you represent but I know that your voters have a solid thinking man on thier side. And any child that is not aborted because of the speech will be forever thankful even if they dont know it.

My YHWH bless you Senator for speaking up for those who had no voice. I was one of the thumbs up. I can only ascertain that the thumbs down were mistakes. I would hate to think it was actually people who have the belief that killing innocent children is acceptable. But I'm not that naive. You are definitely OK in my book Senator Lankford.

The argument on viability is not a legitimate gage on life, for several reasons. One concrete proof of that is a vibrant, intelligent, normal size, beautiful little boy in my family. He was born 3.5 months early and weighed a little under 3 pounds. At this stage and size, abortions are done on a daily basis because they aren't supposed to be viable. This little boy never had to use a respirator. He had to stay in the NICU for a short time (about 3 wks) to gain weight and develop things such as sucking response which he was too young to have developed yet. All he needed was a tiny tube down to his stomach to deliver his milk and let him grow. Now when you see this little guy, you would never know he wasn't born full term. He has zero deficiencies from having been born barely over half term. In my thinking, his case proves the "experts" are wrong!

Sen Lankford is correct when he says its not a Republican or Democrat issue, its really not. Republicans need to allow God His glory and not push the changing of laws to suit their agenda. That is NOT having faith, but trying to "play God". It is persecution of sorts, because it says that anyone who desides to have an abortion is void of God, God is not with them and needs Republicans to be a "God like" figure to them and nothing can be farther from the truth. God leads us in our spirit. So a woman can be lead by God the Father to this "place" of abortion. He's allowed it before in scripture. We are better off leaving the laws the way they are, and allowing God to work through them, because He will, any believer believes that. What I pray all come to understand is that most beliefs are "pro-life" on all levels- Adults and children alike. I am a pro-lifer but have always voted "pro- choice" that is others relationship with God to have and God says He will, when they seek Him, when they call on Him. We are not to create laws that hinder a person to have relationship with Him. This is why we offer freedom of religion. To change the laws from what they currently are, including the ruling of Roe v Wade, is to go against what God says in scripture. He destroyed a Egyptian dynasty over slavery, not the murder of the babies in Moses time Exodus 2. The declaration of Pharoah was nothing for God, because they disobeyed Gods instruction (His instruction to only have two children), so He allowed Pharoah to throw the newborns into the Nile. This was an "abortion ruling" in Gods time and He allowed it. Again for Pharoah to not allow the Isrealites representation in Govt. Or not prosper them and keep them enslaved and impoverished, for them not to allow them to be the teachers of good instruction He sent them to be, or promote them..the dynasty ended abruptly and the first born son of Pharoah was killed in the plague. The dynasty was over at that point. It was NOT over abortion, but over slavery, He came down on them with a vengeance over slavery, not abortion, keep that in mind when encouraging legislation. Pro-life should be on all levels not just for the fetus. For Gods reasons He's proven a few times in scripture, that He'll condemn more over the livlihood of His people and oppression from Govt. than He will over the murder of innocents. Deut 15 The priorities of so many are not in the proper place. Repentance needs to be obtained, a TRUE understanding of what God actually said. Sen. Lankford is really fighting a battle, God never really asked Him to fight on His behalf, not scripturally anyway.

Amazing speech. I will pray that those who have tuned you out, that their hearts and minds will be opened. If not now, in the future. Constant Prayer is the key. Senator Lankford has done an amazing job in making a stand. Let the 75% of Americans also make a stand for these babies. Let's all do "something". Having an opinion doesn't make a difference. Doing something, does. Let's not look away...

God bless you senator. I pray that our nation, changes its course. All lives matter. Even if its a lump of tissue. That tissue is alive is it not? It wouldn't be tissue if it wasn't a live. Not the mothers tissue, but its own. Separate from the mother. Mothers are just an environment, to that child. Keep up the good fight, sir.
