"She just doesn’t get it." That was me when I was 15. Every time my mum said no, or wanted to do things that were for my own good, it made me be mad at her even more. I didn’t realise at the time that the only reason she did this was because she loved me so much, not because she wanted to do me any bad.

Now looking back I realise these things:
Spending time with your parents is a privilege.
Your parents saying no is often out of love.
9/10 they’re only want the best for you.
Saying how much you love them and thank you should be a daily thing.
I wish I could turn time back but I can’t. So I hope that you learn from my mistakes.
