You guys have sponsored me in the past. Awesome company that has been a game changer in copper Head gaskets we use in racing. $36 for 4 from you when several places wanted $30 a gasket. Like you said I sold the spares. Another hint: cheap $150 laser cutter on Amazon cuts very close to your setup using carb board box and cereal boxes. Making free test pieces till you can order the real one.

I can't imagine how awesome it would be to go to college doing engineering now with 3d printers being inexpensive and online services that will crank out custom parts. I remember someone talking about something being 3D printed in 2001-ish timeframe while in college and didn't really understand what they were talking about. Like "what do you mean 3D printed?" They couldn't explain to me that it was plastic applied layer by layer to make a shape and I was stuck in the mindset of laser printers for 8.5"x11" paper since I worked in a computer support center on campus. I can only imagine how much the thing they were talking about cost to make and what quality it was.

for the prototyping materials, If someone wants a part out of the expensive stuff (like carbon fiber) you should offer them a free prototype run. or be able to apply some of the cost of a prototype material as a discount to a more upscale material. may be a great way to get people to use your more expensive materials.

Heard a lot about your company through Jeremy at Electric Supercar, but never realised you had your own channel as well. Interesting episode, and full of good knowledge. Subscribed to you now, and curious about how things work, my being in Canada.

Made an order today using Ben's favorite steel, HRPO, and the thicker one was less expensive than the thinner one.

I never noticed the ‘list’ feature before! That is going to be a huge improvement for planning and buying materials for projects! Also, thanks for cutting the parts for what turned out to be the best anniversary gift I’ve ever given my partner! Getting it done came down to the wire and your quick turnaround definitely made the difference!
