I find it funny when you get intimated by the size of jumps, simply because you build and ride dark fest. Surely EVERYTHING seems small after riding those haha

Today Jan 7 2022, is my 60th birthday. I have been binging videos of all kinds the last little while and 2022, is the year I start learning to send! I got my first bike in 1968, and have always ridden but just never got to the gnarly. As soon as the snow clears a bit, going to start with small jumps. I don't think a ride such as this is in the cards yet, but we will see. I am not a total noob, but I will ease into it. Thanks for the inspiration! - Cheers

I could tell the reason why you guys were hesitating was the way they build the jumps not their size...as all we know each jump require perfect run up and exit, in this case when you have a group of jumps its even more important their connection they have been built, especially when jumps are in different size. Dark fest is a good example for this, riders, you guys knew the speed, exit, landing, everything was just perfectly build the rest was about talent.

It pains me every time I see Darell on his Whyte bike. Years ago I was checking out a new BMW motorcycle with telelever suspension. I drew up a bike design utilizing it and literally the very next day a new issue of MBA came out with the Whyte version on the cover. Gutted.
