Sending Messages on a Micro:bit

Can you make a code where you can type out a message and send the full message to the other microbit because I found a tutorial on how to make a text message thing with the microbits but it only sends one letter at a time is there a way you can upgrade that?

You should be able to send a text message to another device, and it will display at least a couple of letters as it scrolls through. It is only 25 LEDs, so the amount of space is limited, which means it can't fit more than maybe 1.5 letters at a time as it scrolls through the message.
