Sending your child to boarding school? Watch this first.

In my opinion boarding school should never be an option unless as what the doctor said (for the purpose of protecting the child). We choose to have children if we can't take care of them, then why choose to have kids? To proof fertility? If parents choose to send their children to boarding school then they shouldn't be surprised if the children one day choose to send the parents to old folks home. Children were not asked to be born. Adults choose to have kids and they should be responsible for their children.

I completely agree with all his points and I've been in a boarding school from class 1. Very well said and as he said not everyone comes out disciplined. I love having a proper routine in my life whereas my friend who was with me since class 2 hates it. So like he said,it depends from child to child.

1:05 It is not at all a British concept. It is very much Indian Concept took by British and applied it in a different way. India only had gurukul system which means kids are away from family to gain knowledge for so many years under the able guidance of Guru or Gurus

I spent 4 years in Boarding school and I can assure you that Boarding me world exposure nhi milta. Mtlb ki 700 chehre Har roz dekhe koi puri duniya ko samjha nhi jaa sakta. Hume bade hokar 3 se 4 environment me rahena hota he ek din me. Vo aapka ghar, aapka working space, apki society aur aapke friends circle. Manta hu ki Boarding me ek true friendship aur bonding hoti he par ye Har ek ke saath nhi hoti. Bohut log akele chut jaate aur itni si Umar me loneliness ka 😢 shikhar hojate he. Aise bache saath ke liye fake friends banate he jo unhe hi use karte he. Aise bache machburi me depression me aur paise loot vadete he. Boarding me fights(mostly argumentive) bhi bohut hoti hi , apne batchments ke saath to sort bhi ho jaaega par Agar aapke paas support nhi to aap juniors ke saamne apni respect ko doge aur ek loser ki image ban jaati he sabke dimaag me. Mtlb ki confidence hi ko jaata he, jiske vaje se vo aur introvert ho jaata he aur school activity me part bhi nhi le pata. Parents boarding me independent hona bhejte he par, aap bohut dependent feel karoge. Aap apne kapde nhi tho sakte kyuki Dhobi wale aate he, aap ko apna manchah khana nhi kha sakte kyuki canteen he. Kis angle se independent he bacha, nahi vo khud ka khana banake kha sakta, nahi khud ke kapde tho sakta, nahi vo apne room me jaadu laga sakta he. Mere Boarding ke bache apni wet dream vale kache bhi laundry me daal dete the yaar 😑. Aap apna kaam khud nhi kar paare isliye aapko apne kapde utne saaf aur bhori cooking ke vaje se healthy nhi rhe paare. Samajh rhe aapke haath na aapki health , naahi aapki hygiene. Parents Discipline ke liye boarding Lagate he par Jabar jasti ka routine follow kar ek self discipline kha se aayega. Self discipline to self realization se aata he na. Agar ek kuta Khamenei roz peshab karta he to vo tabhi hi ye aadat chodega na jab use bhijli ka chatka milega. Mtlb ki Parents apne bache ke important childhood years ek dum facts se unknown hoke kissi institution ko de dete he. Boarding school kuch nhi bas Ameero ke chochle he. Bacho ko family values sikhani chahiye varna Daddy issues se suffer karoge

Maa baap apni busy life ki wajah se baccho ki responsibility boarding schools pr daal dete hain.. Apne bacche ko bachpan se he khud se duur kr dete hain.. Boarding school ki fees time pr bhar k apne mann ko tasalli dete h ki unhone apni responsibility poori kr di lekin vo ye bhool jaate hain ki wo khud apne bacche ko shuru se he apne se duur rhne ki habit daal rahe hain or jb baccha bada hokr apne maa baap se unke old age me duur rhne lagta h to apne bacche ko culprit samajhte hain.. Us stage me baccha akela culprit nhi hota balki maa baap b baraabar k zimmedaar hote h us situation k.. Isliye ho sake to zada se zada bacche ko apne sath rakhne ki koshish karo.. Padhai poori krne k baad naukri k liye bacche ko alag hona pad skta h vo ek alag baat h or us waqt baccha mature ho chuka hota h or maa baap ki value ko achhe se samajh chuka hota h.. Kuchh bacche exceptions hote h jo apne maa baap k sath lambe samay tk rehne k baad b unhe bhool jate hain.. koi baat nhi unhe waqt achha lesson sikhaega.. But maa baap ko humesha yahi koshish krni chahiye unki bonding apne bacche k sath humesha strong bani rahe.. Children are fragrant flowers but parents are their roots :)

This is such bullshit been a boarder my self I was far more independent as a teenage and now as an adult friendships in boarding schools are for life we bond over many little things since we are not your physically tougher and mentally as well this is a very one sided coming from someone who has not been a broader themselves there is certainly a middle age which is a good time to go to boarding after 12 years of age since you do want those formative years bonding with you parents but for a teenager it’s the best thing we don’t have phones and validation over photos small things like bonding over packet of maggi eaten by 6 people or sports every day are memories for life so maybe one should open their mind up and do more research on it

Bullshit,. What kind of bording school did you go to ? I never had that luxurious life like you mentioned lmao. I had to wake up at 6 in the morning do the necessary daily routines and literally had to study like a madman. Sharing food ? Pfft the only thing we shared where pencils and pens lmao. I don't know why parents send their kids to bording 😑 if they didn't want a kid why make them in first place. It's like Indian parents think they are entitled to have everything from their kids just because they gave birth to us .

If you can provide the following inputs to children between ages of 10 to 17 after school: 7+ hours per week academics, 5+ hours per week extra curricular activities, 7+ hours per week sports or physical activities, wake up & sleep right on time, balanced food on time without delay, clean laundry, child willingly keeps his/her room and things clean and organized, adequate outside school time for peer group socializing, then boarding school may not add any additional value.

just saying if u think of sending your child to boarding school basically proves you arent worthy of parenting and sending your kids carelessly not realizing what could happen homesickness and the child would probably hate you for the rest of your life for it
