They used another character from that period, Oda fought him so obviously he'd be in here, in some way or fashion, the reason they used mitsuhide (or suspected to be mitsuhide) was because in history many speculate mitsuhide didn't die at the battle he supposedly died at (idk i forgot the name of battle) and instead made a new life as a monk named Tenkai

@ftarna Oi... no, no. I'm going to consider most people have played Dawn of Dreams. Spoilers ahead. In that gamem you get a character named "Tenkai". In the end, he's revealed to be Samanosuke Akechi. In this game, Tenkai is Mitsuhide Akechi. Both are warrior monks, or at least, supposedly monks, but SamanosukeTenkai gets to use Shakujo, so he's more of a monk.

Kind of sad that many of the NPC's such as Yoshiaki, Kenshin,Tenkai, Matsu, and others have their own movesets and character models but arent available in game.. Someone please tell me that they are going to release characters via DLC.. I must play with Toshiie!!!!

tenkai well be miss feel bad for him oh ya the strongest character in the game is kanbe kuroda way do u thaink he has the caneball on him and even with it he still kick ass.......... I hope he get that key
