Senior Citizens Get Driving Rehab

This rehab needs to be enforced a lot more. A senior citizen losing their licence doesn't cost them their freedom, it just means they'll have to get rides from relatives, or use public transport. Driving is like sports and other physical activities, there comes a point when you're simply to old to do it and have to quit.

I wish they would reinforce this rehab. Don't get me wrong. I love my grandfather, but he is not as sharp as he once was. He sort of zones in and out things, and he is pretty deaf. He lives in a retirement home which has it's own bus to take seniors wherever they want or need to go. But he wants to keep driving. We don't know how to convince him that perhaps he should hang up the keys.

If you have alzhimers you shouldn't be putting your want to drive above others want to live.
