I stated historical fact, Prost had more fastest laps, 2 times as many at McLaren, Prost also had more points in both 1988 and 1989. You do know Prost had 105 points in 1988 to Senna's 93 points don't you? Historical fact. You said "greatest", "fastest" "ever" - so who's the Fanboy here? Senna was only good in the best car, apparently in 1993 his "GOD" power didn't help him to beat faster cars, and Schumacher handed him back his "GOD" badge in 1994. LOL

@weallfollowmanutd First, Hill was at 1 lap of Senna on the same car, in a team where both have the same support ( on contrary of Benetton where the 1st driver has almost all the support). Secondly, Barcelone 92, Senna spun while he was trying to stop Alesi, not Schumacher, which had a more agile car on rain than the MP4/7 (very different from MP4/8 on rain)

rdtli - What a complete exageration. That FW16 put Damon Hill on the podium even early on in the season, so it was not as bad as you make out. Unfortunately, like many deluded Senna fans, you think Senna could drive a Minardi in the top 6. I just watched the wet 1992 Spanish grand prix and I must say, a young Michael Schumacher was already giving Senna a beating and eventually caused him to spin out, so Senna was not infallible. Deluded people out there indeed.

@@ciko5426 I watched every race from 1978. Have collected every race transferred to dvd. I have races from the early 60s broadcast in Germany as well, so I do know my f1. My dad worked in f1 for Cosworth racing in the late 80s and early 90s developing the DFR engine, so please don't give me a tutorial on how much I've learnt about f1. The Williams had a rear suspension problem that effected the stability at high and low speed, but it was very quick regardless. The engine was 70hp up on the Cosworth engine, so especially in qualifying was capable of being the fastest car over one lap, but inconsistent over a race distance. Senna always ran his cars lower than his team mates, which made his car quicker but even more unstable than it already was. Senna was rattled, so rather than try the safer option would rather spin off than finish second.

Vem cá, so o Senna era imprudente? A imprudencia dele deu 3 titulos, a prudencia dos outros nao deu titulo nenhum e provocou acidentes do mesmo jeito, tipo o cara que fechou o Fittipaldi e quase o matou, por causa de 1 ponto de classificação....Alias, e a imprudencia do Prost em Suzuka em 89 e a do Schumi jogando o carro no Hill em 94 nao contam nao? Talvez o Piquet e o Lauda, mas eu tenho algumas dúvidas. Aquela ultrapassagem do Piquet por fora na Hungria, se o carro perde o controle ele podia ir com tudo no muro... podia ter causado acidente, mas o Piquet tinha q mostrar que era Badboy, entao so sobrou o Lauda, que correu machucado...mas e se por estar recem operado e tomando remedios pra dor, causasse acidentes por causa disso? Imprudencia pra mim foi a FIA se recusar desviar a Tamburello...tiveram q matar o Senna pra tomar uma atitude. Nao tem santo ali nao meu amigo. `Por isso que FORMULA tem o UM no nome, pq é o top e todos querem chegar la.
