@@tstret3104 They did on Ron Howards Rush. Lauda didn't have any Marlboro logos on his overalls even though he had a personal contact with them. Also Hunts overalls were toned down. A few years back Mclaren would photoshop images to remove West and Marlboro ads from old pictures. Thankfully they stopped doing that. To answer your question it is legislation in different countries that can fine or even prohibit showing cigarette ads on TV shows even it would be historically correct.

Watching this I realise how hard it is to play Senna. The hardest bit is getting the depth of feeling of his driving. Senna had a charisma all his own. At the Autosport Awards, when Mansell was talking, everyone was chatting at their tables and, mainly, ignoring him. When Senna spoke, a different year, you could hear a pin drop. Everyone did not want to miss a word as he went into the depths of racing at speed, competition and winning.

I've been a fan of formula 1 since I was a kid, and the only thing I can say so far is the movie rush, which the f1 community accepted. We all know what Ayrton Senna represents in the world of motorsport, for me he is immortal. I hope this series will be the way he deserves it. The trailer looks promising, I can't wait to watch it.

"I had the privilege of watching Ayrton race live, driving his Lotus JPS, then the Lotus Camel, and later, his McLaren, like a true master of the track. I was part of an era where he took our breath away, brought tears to our eyes, and, above all, filled our hearts with pride to be Brazilian. That timeline in which Ayrton Senna won felt magical, almost unreal. I miss every turn, every overtaking move, and the way he made the impossible look easy. Today, I lack a reason to feel that same pride. It’s a longing that only those who lived it can understand."

I don't think they could have made a better job. It's done with meticulous attention to details, determination to recreate everything as close to the feel of that era as possible, the passion for the subject matter. The actors were absolutely splendid and killed it in almost every role. I am especially impressed by the work on the voices and accents. The casting was a top notch. A great ride for all of the racing enthusiasts and Senna's fans. A shout-out to the soundtrack, I loved the songs of the 8O's-90s that were included. Recommend watching it.

Holy the timing on this is nuts. I'm not an avid F1 fan but I have some friends that were super interested in it so I watched a live race with Lewis and Verstappen in it. I thought it was cool but I didn't dive more into it, so fast-forward a few months later and I get a youtube recommendation for "The darkest weekend in F1 history." Watch out of curiosity, find about Senna's incident, and get into F1's history books. Watch a bunch of montage clips of accidents on KZbin, watch the F1 documentary on Netflix (2 days ago) and now here I am randomly opening up KZbin to find this trailer. My mind is blown
