Martin Brundle was asked recently what was his most memorable race, he answered Jerez 1987, where he finished 7th with a Zakspeed. He said that although he had podium in his career he never pushed himself and a F1 better than that day and that nobody could have pushed better that Zakspeed that very day.

Ayrton Senna was a great driver with that Lotus. Even the Benetton was better those years, like in 1993 it was better, than the McLaren. But this is Senna's greatness. He was a real fighter. Where was his teammate? I think, he should have driven the Williams this year and then he won that year easily because of how much better he was with the same car, than his teammate.

Use hard tyres, the rest of the grid are using soft tyres, that is the reason they are faster than him. He won the 86 race with hard tyres.

The problem he would brake later than the rest, that's the reason he would crash at the beginning, he was lapping some one and this was coming slower than him and braking earlier...the other one fast to the cord was Mansell, he outbraked prost on the outside at Magny Cours, prost never learn to brake as did this two, he complained Ayrton took too much risk...proxy would be 1,5 " behind Ayrton at Mcarlo with the same car...
