First off, Steve probably has one of the coolest jobs on the planet. Being able to test high powered cars on a private track/roadway has got to be the most fun anyone can have after punching their time card. That's the kind of job you don't mind going in early for and look forward to staying late. 2nd, that active aero wing is just fascinating. I would have a hard time keeping my eyes on the road because I would constantly be looking back to see it working. I would imagine that driving one that you own is an experience like no other.

VERY interesting and informative! Also the driving around on English roads. I visited England for seven days in '77. We toured the countryside outside of London on the "B" and "C" roads and stayed at local B%B's patronized by native English. It was a mental challenge leaving Heathrow Airport AND driving on the left side of the narrow two lane roads while in the right side seat shifting manually the rented Austin Mini and negotiating "roundabouts". We didn't have them in the USA back then. It was mentally exhausting doing that and not killing ourselves or anyone else! The English countryside was right out of British film. We had a great time in the land of Monty Python and Fawlty Towers. Ate REAL English breakfasts at small rural B&B's: rack of dry toast, "bangers", marmalade/jam, eggs and fried tomatoes. When they brought the coffee it was always two pots, one with coffee the other milk. The issue was how much milk, no one drank it black! If you did, they would know you were American. When we returned home I would have panic attacks due to having concentrated SO HARD on not killing anyone in Enland that it was a struggle to remember which side of the road on which to drive and turn properly.

When I first saw the Senna when McLaren announced it, I really wasn’t that much of a fan of the styling. I did understand that McLaren was going for function over form but as time has gone on, it’s grown on me so much that I think it’s one of the most beautiful cars ever created!!! Personally I think the 720S is THE most beautiful production car EVER built with the Senna very close behind. And as the Senna’s design has grown on me, I’ve realized that IMO, McLarens, ALL OF THEM, are the most gorgeous cars ever offered for sale!!!!! And Shmee, the spec of your Senna is absolutely top notch!!! But personally, my favorite car of all the ones Tim has (or had), his 675LT Spyder’s spec is absolutely perfect!!!
