I bought this soundbar after seeing your review and it’s outstanding for the price, just wanted to know howz the sub before buying. Does it give you that earth shattering, thunderous deep low bass which can reverberate across your body and shake the walls and floor…can u feel the thump on your chest not just hearing it…thanks❤

If you watch a lot of action movies and like deep bass, it's a must add as the soundbar itself doesn't have that powerful bass to fill a room. Hope you enjoy!!

I bought this subwoofer it sounds amazing, but i have set sub volume to +5db and I sometimes get popping or cracking noise from sub while playing movies and it further increases if i increase the db…to max volume Am I pushing the sub too hard or what volume level you have set on the sub I’ll also do the same. Pls advise ❤

It sounds like you have it turned up too loud and might be expecting more from this system than it can provide.

@@AudioAdvice ya bro, it’s kinda low this sub power even if i tune all the way up…its not as good as Bose bass module 700 which is it’s nearest competitor let alone SVS subs. Anyways I bought it now have to stick with this for some years to come….Thanks for the reply and xlent review….❣️

Thanks! We did not have to change any EQ settings for movies or music! It sounds great out of the box. Any adjustments will come down to your personal taste.

As far as we know, it will only accept Sennheiser because it does it wirelessly without a subwoofer out connection.

@@AudioAdvice i would just stick with using the soundbar alone, i have to move my tv and ps5 and ipad in the living frorm when im playing co op with family and well you could imagine how much of nightmare bringing all that out sometimes everyday along with dedicated speakers. it would probably take nearly 8 minutes to bring out and set up or to unplug and bring back in.

800 euros is too much for the mini version, especially when Samsung's full-sized soundbars, including their flagship models, are available at the same price or even cheaper.

It is not inexpensive, however, it is built really well and is definitely a high quality soundbar.

Yes its a rip off all sound bars are a massive rip off, u are paying like $1200+ for only $300 max worth of hardware. It the digital signal processing, with artificially enhances certain sounds to create the false illusion of a good sound. The trouble is its no where near as good as real hi-fi speakers.

You're comparing apples to oranges. You get convenience, simplicity and compact size. Not everyone has a good space to set up all the speakers around and have all the gear required and the space

One big issue with sound bars is the drivers used are small wide range and cheap. All those effects, eqs are just clever digital signal processing intended to create the illusion of fantastic sound from small cheap drivers in a small plastic box with a class d amplifiers. Just add a cheap sub and its amazing how the sound can fill the room. All that research is in the technology, yep its the software, yep its clever digital signal processing, made to make mass produced cheap plastic RUBBISH sound amazing, and make Sennheiser an absolute fortune. But if you have ever heard proper hi-fi speakers, that sound bar is best put in the bin. Also the price of those top soundbars are in the thousands of dollars, you are paying $1200 for a $300 true value cheap plastic speakers probably made in china.

Yes a different market, but the issue is the prices, If I see a cheap simple solution" the sound bar", with an unfair huge greedy price tag, and bloggers saying how good they are, I can see the deception and lies and injustice and I going to leave comment. I the other had if it was cheap and the price reflected this, its a fair go, You get what u pay for. The manufacturer will have u believe the sky is falling, to get more money out of you, its amazing how with some dsp you can make a cheap speaker sound ok. Yep its all about the money. not sound quality.

@@bjtaudio You can turn off the spacial processing and reviews stated it sounded better. I understand your point about plastic, etc. I'm a very high end user with dedicated 2ch and HT systems with speakers by Andrew Jones (TAD CR1 and Elac Adante for HT.) But this sound bar is perfect for a small bedroom system, and I have one on order and I'm thinking about the sub, even though it's molded plastic. A speaker buyer is mostly paying for cabinetry while the soundbar customer is really paying for technology. The drivers in the AMbeo are aluminum and Sennheiser knows how to build drivers (I have their HD800 headphones). And while I hate the plastic cabinets as much as you do, I'm assuming they have engineered the necessary rigidity and damping. Having the sound bar calibration also calibrate the Ambeo sub, with its own microphone, really sold me over better subs like SVS or KEF. I'll be playing at a low enough volume where I shouldn't be hitting resonances/distortion.
