Thank you so much for this video. I had a wireless microphone lying unused from so long since i could not spend money to get it fixed. this video showed me how i could fix it myself and i tried and it really worked. So happy to have it learnt myself. Thanks so much once again.

I don't get it. Do you solder the switch on? Our microphone has a corroded switch. I hit it with a screwdriver and it came on. I guess it was because the screwdriver was magnetized. Did you put extra wires to solder to the switch. I didn't see the finished product! How do you remove the old switch? It looks to be soldered. Did you have to separate the boards so it was easier to get at the switch which looks to be inside the board? Is 045899 part the only thing I need, or do I need wires?

yea once the power button goes out you will need to put a new one. Our power button has gone out a few times and I just got tired of fixing it with original power button. People will used anything to push that power button and eventually goes out. The power button has four connection, one on each corner. You need to solder wires from opposites corners, any of this two opposites corners turn on and off the mic. and solder the magnetic switch to this to wires and then any magnet will turn it on and off. This way people do not mess up with the power button any more.
