As an extremely happy MTW2 daily user, I'm even happier to say that the new MTW3 buds are noticeably better sounding, better fitting, nicer looking, and have very nice noise canceling. The ui control options and layout is better too. The fit inside the ear is more comfortable for me thanks to the new silicone fitting that hugs the outer part of the ear hole entrance. I thought the spec differences weren't going to be anywhere as noticeable as they are but these sounds quite a bit better to me. I also love the bass boost option for much of the music I listen to. They really did it right on these as I love intense punchy bass without muddling up the mids and highs and my God, these are perfect imho. I've owned every high end bud I can find so far and nothing has stood up to the MTW2's until now. If you already own the 2's and want to know of its worth the upgrade, I say it absolutely is! The sound quality is amazing, the punchy bass option is unbeatable for bass you can both feel and hear, and the noise canceling is so impressive. I have large tractor and zero turn mower with a large and loud engine right behind my head and I cannot even hear it with the MTW3's in. It's shocking actually. Couldn't be happier with these. Sennheiser killed it. Now I can't wait for whatever they do with the next gen in a few years.

Aside from the sound, these headphones have no pluses. First of all, it took me a few months to get them to work with my Pixel 7 phone: there was always the problem that the sound from music was going into the headphones, but I couldn't use them as a headset when connected. Then it was fixed with updates. But the problems started 4-5 months after purchase: Poor contact between the headphones and the ports in the case. Everything was charging fine up until now, but then you put the headphones on charging, the case lights up immediately yellow and then immediately green. You take the headphones out and you find out that the right earphone is not charged. It is necessary to clean all the contacts, and only then it will work. Clean with alcohol should be almost every 2-3 weeks of daily use. And even in this case it happened that after charging the right earpiece was discharged. After 10 months of use torn earbud, but it's nothing. The most shameful thing is that the cap/membrane of the left earpiece, which was held on the glue (!!!) on the diameter (!!!!!) came off. How for 220 euros (May 2023) can this be done? Noise reduction is practically non-existent. I have nothing to compare it with, of course. But in the subway the difference is minimal between noise reduction on and off. In short, if you don't want to be disappointed, avoid this model. Nothing against the brand. I've owned wired headphones from Sennheiser for about 15 years. No complaints. They sound great. And they still work, by the way.

most qualcomm snapdragon and mediatek dimensity soc is equipped with aptx adaptive, aac, lhdc and ldac by default, when you connect your tws go to developers option, make sure hd audio is on and if you see bt codec is at aptx adaptive it is already using it altho it doesn't show in the BT connected device like aac, its just there automatically without it telling you. example of this is poco x3 nfc. i've tested this on edifier x3 and edifier tws1 pro. it will default to the codec that's designed to unless it has feature or apps to force it on different bt audio codec.

Incorrect. While technically ALL QC SOCs should be able to run Adaptive, it's up to the manufacturer (ie Samsung in my case) to enable it. That's why the likes of the S10+ don't support aptX HD, let alone Adaptive. I'm well aware of dev options, been using it for over 13 years now lol

I have the momentum 1 and 2 and the technics AZ60-S and it’s previous version now judging by this detailed review / description, the technics AZ-60 will utterly wipe the floor with this Momentum 3 in every possible aspect. here are a Few Technics advantages over the Momentum 3 - Sound Quality - Much better Bass and SubBass - Sound Stage - Multipoint pairing - Battery life - Multi codec support including the adaptive apt x - Better more effective Active Noise Canceling - Better Accuracy and responsive Touch Controls - Overall smaller size of the case and portability - Multi band EQ not just the 3 bands like the Sennheiser Momentum - More reasonable price given all these functionalities is l still lower than Sennheiser Momentum 3 Go for Technics you’ll be happy and your wallet be happier you did. The Sennheiser Momentum as we used to know it is sadly no more with the company’s merger to smaller third party investors keeping the Sennheiser name afloat and shamelessly trading under the same name still asking with premium prices while more delivering Sub-par product which resembles an over glorified Sennheiser CX line that are far from a premium flagship line up that momentum’s used to be.

I am keeping the momentum 2 as they still hold their own. As for new tech will move on to other prominent brands that do take the wireless devisions seriously and innovate. When every other manufacturer out there are moving forward Sennheiser once a great innovator anda major contender now takes two step back for the good old mighty cutting costs to recover the merger and maximise profit. It’s a real shame there was so much potential here all thrown to the bin for the sake of being semi generic and new coat of paint trying to be different while taking a giant step back on Sound ☹️😢 falling behind even the most generic ChiFi TWS yet shamelessly asking top premium $$$ for now a subpar wireless buds that are more in the line of CX range rather than what Momentum range used to represent.

hello, does it have white color and the problems mentioned in the user comments in tru wriles 2, do you think some problems such as not clear phone calls and full noise canceling have been solved in 3 generations, and frankly, I was expecting three, but should I choose it?

Prior to commenting on a video, watch it. It's disrespectful otherwise towards the creator. Best of luck going forwards.

How do these compared to the IE 300s?

Hard to really compare wired IEMs with wireless earbuds. Would say these sound better on the whole though

Were there improvements made to the max volume? The Momentum 2s had a very low volume for its max volume, had to max it out to really hear something substantial.
@TotallydubbedHD2 жыл бұрын
Never had an issue myself with volume, and frankly you shouldn't be using them on max!
@Oppps882 жыл бұрын
@@TotallydubbedHD haha! Definitely but the max volume for the Momentum 2s was kinda low so volume for almost maxing it out is like a 60-70% for some of my other true wireless earbuds :)

Your comparing the momentums to brands that i never seen sold in stores

Hopefully that'll expand your knowledge of what's outside of brands that just pay a lot of money to be in a store then :)

Could you do a loud room microphone test? Curious how good it is up blocking background sounds.
@TotallydubbedHD2 жыл бұрын
It's on par with the Jabra when it comes to dealing with background noise, but is outclassed by the Technics - see my AZ60 review for more info on how those two compare

Sennheiser buried this series. TWS2 was good back in the day but this market is very competitive. Technics AZ60 sound is way much better. Disappointing.
