Considering the price I think the Sennheiser XS is a solid usb-c lavalier microphone.

I think BOYA M1 microphone doesn't have USB-C.

For ebiking if using the XS would it pick up any background noise? Looking to connect the XS to a action 4, but also would like yo pick up some background noise.

Not a huge difference between macbook mic & Lavalier mic If Lavalier is like 9/10 Macbook is around 7/10

The Sennheiser XS Lav USB-C Lavalier Microphone should sound significantly better in my opinion... so there could be other factors at play.
