Please do a comparison video between G4 and this one Please

Two obvious differences between G4 and XSW are: The more rugged metal housing of the receiver and ethernet port on G4 transmitter for remote management.

Besides that other pro features, is there a noticeable in audio quality between XSW and G4?

Please compare XSW IEM to Shure PSM-300, which is surely Sennheiser's target to grab lower-end market share from.

Bought this yesterday before our outdoor show. Worked so much better than my previous cheap mono in ear.. the sound was sooo much louder, i could keep the volume halfway. Panning the drums, the other guitarist, and all the vocals around and keeping my own guitar and vocal at center game me so much clarity and spacious feel it was amazing! The only downside here in my opinion is the fact that the battery life of the pack only last a couple hours. I do not believe it lasts 5 hours. After 2.5 hours of use during our audio test and show, the indicator was red, meaning low battery. How much that is left i do not know, but my previous mono reciever lasts for like 15 hours, which is giving me less stuff to stress about. But the quality and available headroom on these were amazing!

Edit, i was wrong on the battery! Turned it on now and it was green! I think i might had already turned off the transmitter, giving me red lights😂

Hi Andy, thanks for a great introduction of this system. It´s quick and contains all information needed ! Seems like Sennheiser wants to eliminate quite a strong competition in low-end IEM, like Saramonic. Yes, it would be nice to see a comparison between G4 and this one, for me, especially ragarding range. Although I´m not expecting it to beat G4 in any other than ease-of -use field, it could be a nice surprise.

Many thanks Andy. It really helpfull. I have received the unit two days a go from Occa Indonesia, an agency for Sennheiser in Indonesia, and we'd like to review it later

Nice review - thank you. Is the XSW receiver compatible with a G4 500 Transmitter? I work primarily from a bag.

Hi, Andy! Thanks for your reviews, they're very helpful. I'm shopping for an IEM system but I'm wondering if Sennheiser will, in the near future, release an IEM system with the equivalent of their EW-D technology. With the massive dynamic range, it seems like a logical step. I have the EW-D or Sax or guitar and it is excellent and a breeze to use. Any insight would be helpful. Cheers! J

Great review, can you control two receivers with independent mixes on this?

Hi Andy, we are looking at either this pack or the Shure PSM 300. Is there one you would recommend over the other?

Hi Zach, I'd personally recommend the XSW IEM!

What is the actual range om this system before you start losing signal??
@LeisuretecDistribution Жыл бұрын
Hey, generally the range would be 60-100m but this really depends on the line-of-sight, for example; does it have to go through walls? or how thick are the walls? We also did a Range Test at 2:33 so I hope this helps!

Is this XW...digital as the EW?
@guille_toledo762 жыл бұрын
@@LeisuretecDistribution ohhhh 😲 I see... I read that the Shure PSM 300 is 24 bit digital. What does that mean in comparison with the Sennheiser...? I'm confused if the digital is far better..and avoid drop-outs.
