im stuck somewhere deep underground in northern ukraine, specifically the chernobyl exclusion zone, the monolith has finally pulled me thin of all my equipment, the only thing between life and death is this concrete barrier which i am leaning on. i have lost my automatic rifle from the previous gravitational anomaly and have only a glock with 6 bullets left, i will die alone and in the cold and nobody will ever find me. Oh my lord, i can hear them approaching me, i can hear their war cries echoing through these tight corridors, oh lord why did i end up here, is this really my fate? as i say that i stand up from cover and try firing at the monolithians, missing 2 shots but killing one soldier with the remaining 4 shots, now im truly cooked, beyond cooked, i could even say im roasted, boiled. I run deeper into the darkness of the hallway, i run and run until i stumble upon multiple doors, i hide in one room praying to not be discovered by these killing machines. Just as i hear their steps getting closer and touching on the door knob, i hear loud roars, very, very loud roars, only thing coming to my mind is that this could be a chimera who found its way into the power plant's underground somehow, so i quietly hide myself in the rubble. A hour passes and the quiteness is eerie, i arise from the ruins and walk into the hallway, nobody. Nobody is here, everybody left in a hurry, but i do find a dead corpse, a dead monolithian. I take all his loot and i get hope again.
