Pure brilliance! I don't think there is a better female drummer in the world today. I think she might be the best drummer either male or female, too. She's just a monster on the drums. You see all these "Ten Best Drummer" list and she's better than all of them except maybe Buddy Rich and he's left the building. I think he's somewhere looking down cheering her on saying, "You go, girl!"

I keep coming back to this vid. Very exciting indeed. There seems to be a recurring theme, which Senri reads, interspersed with bars of 'ad libitum'. This is an unusual mixture of shred metal and jazz. It really works well and it is all held together by Senri. She's very petite and yet still manages to deliver all the necessary power and fluidity. There is a very high class of musicianship to be found in Japan. They put in some serious study. The bass player is watching everything. Can't really see Guthrie. I wish Senri got over to the UK some more.

Is there anything, on the drums , this girl can't play ? Senri is the most versatile drummer I have ever seen , this girl can get behind any band , "ANY" band and play their music the way it's supposed to be played . She is just too awesome .
