There is a serious design flaw with all sensah lever that would only surface after long term usage. There is a trigger for shifting underneath the brake lever, and it is made of soft aluminum. Mine have worn out after one year of heavy commuting. It’s still functional, but the play is significantly bigger and annoying. I started apply grease to the shifting trigger since then.

Hey friend, I'd like to follow up on you with this. Trace Velo made a video about that part that hits the shifting mechanism. He said on the updated ones they are no longer the same material made. Hence Sensah has updated that part. Here is a link to Trace Velo's video kzbin.info/www/bejne/gZO9lqmnppuIbbM Do you have any verdict for this one?

I had an issue with my Sensah SRX PRO STI after 1500 km of use; it stopped shifting down to the last 3 smaller cogs. I contacted Sensah's factory, and they advised me to disassemble, clean, and reassemble it, as the return spring was supposedly stuck. I asked for a video or technical manual, but they never replied again, which left me quite disappointed. However, I found a video of a similar STI being disassembled and managed to follow it. Unfortunately, it didn’t solve the issue, and I realized the problem was the return spring lacking sufficient tension, preventing it from shifting back to the smaller gears. If anyone knows a way to increase the return spring tension, I would be very grateful because Sensah no longer responds to my emails-a complete disregard for their customers. I was very satisfied with their product until this problem occurred.

Rapaz, I assembled a full L-TWOO A7 group set on my vintage MTB chromoly Scott Summit 1999 just for fun and she is a monster! Now I will test another Chinese group set on my Caloi Strada and I will risk to say that I will not get disappointed! People here only think about Shimano, Sram, and period! What I say to my friends now is: hashtag_ChupaShimano. LOL!

Despite not having much in the way of gravel riding in inner Melbourne I've wanted a gravel bike for ages and with my bonus coming in this week I may pull the trigger once you release your wheel and frame vids Furthermore it goes to show just what kind of margins SRAM and Shimano are making on their groupsets even after accounting for R&D, marketing etc.. Hell, this Sensah groupset is probably made in the same factory

Shimano parts are made in various Asian provinces including China. The "Drive" wheels are more expensive than an alloy rimmed wheelset if you've got a lower budget.

@@pedalverso opa, boa noite! Certamente sigo recomendando 👍. Se eu tivesse que fazer essa troca hj, eu ficaria na dúvida entre o Ltwoo somente pelo fato de já terem lançado a versão hidráulica mas o sistema de troca de marchas não me agrada muito. Ainda prefiro o sistema do Sensah.

Obrigado!

I have considered this group set, but finally went flat bar to go MTB groupsets (M5100 is super cheap here, and with full hydraulic brake). Another problem unrelated to the shifting part is the crankset. 3 pin direct mount is very creak prone, thus I'd still go 105/tigra crankset instead, or go full MTB crankset if one is happy with BB spacer.

My Ultegra Di2 lever has failed and there seems to be a shortage of replacement levers. Shimano and Sram groupsets are now at a point where if one small part fails, and it is previous generation (11 speed), they stop making that generation, then you must face replacing almost the entire groupset. In this case, the master cylinder seals are going bad and lever is not rebuildable. If they stop making the previous generation and they won't sell repair parts, the entire group becomes useless especially for Di2 or AXS (i.e. eTap). I am seriously looking at Sensah and L-Twwo.

Do not pour hot water on your bike it may damage paintwork and plastic parts. Hot water on chain only when it is seperate from your bike.

Compare this against other mechanical groupsets. The extra weight of hydraulic brakes has its benefits, and it is harder to get cable-operated brakes right.

So the brakes need to be replaced, and the Juin ones you got also need to be replaced. The spider design isn't good, and it all relies on cables and low friction.

Why not test against 105 if not doing any real gravel-riding. The RX groupsets are sturdier for that reason, and comparing it to Di2 for weight is very favourable.
