Thanks. some good observations from Sensai Tenaka.That training of eyesight, peripheral vision, staying in touch with the attacker, and entering is such a novel and great thing to see like this. Cheers

Best defence against a knife is your ability to run as fast as you can to get away from the assailant. The odds of your coming out of a knife fight without a serious injury is about 1 in a hundred.

it cant be with kenji tomiki as in founder of tomiki aikido he passed away

Tanaka Sensei's partner is his son, who is named Kenji after Professor Tomiki. (Tanaka Sensei was captain of the first Aikido club at Waseda under Professor Tomiki.)
