I picked this as the entrance song to my dads funeral a few years back. He was such a big Fan of TSAHB and the man himself. I’m so glad that his fantastic taste in music rubbed off on me.

before they started putting music into categories like country, rock, r&b, back when you could have Slade, ABBA, Crystal Gayle, Andy Williams, The Wurzles, Deep Purple, Madness and David Soul all on one programme. Today we miss some good sounds because it doesn't make the mainstream.

Back in my Club Days or Nights lol I can remember even walking while it was playing and watching others and aware of it or not people walked to the beat. Alex was incredible Talented and gave his all. His version of Brel's NEXT blew my mind. I wish I had seen them LIVE but Unfortunately not. But I feel privileged to be able to say I lived on this Earth at the same time Alex Harvey was creating. Thanks Mr A Harvey xxxx

Reminds me of my older brother watching The Old Grey Whistle Test in the 1970s. It was on quite late, and Black Sabbath were on, so he turned it up. Our Dad was trying to sleep in the room above, and banged on the ceiling in protest. My brother turned it up to full volume, so Dad came down shouting "Fucking turn it down, I need to be up early for work tomorrow". My brother replied "Oh sorry, I thought you were joining in so I turned it up". To this day, Dad still hasn't forgiven "whispering fucking Bob Harris" for TOGWT!
