It really is! The crew on the 777 have the opportunity to be so much more attentive too, I felt like I’d been welcomed home after being away for months. There are no doors like the A380 suites so this product is all about pampering over privacy, and I was living for it. :) Thanks for watching! Shane

@@jamesmoninger1982 hehe thanks and I hear you on that - it’s not my usual choice, but I’d had beef for lunch coming into Singapore from Hong Kong, so went for the the most popular order to try it out. And I wasn’t disappointed. What did you order?

@@PlaneShane I don't really fly to Asia anymore, but I remember they had 20+ things on their menu. That was before COVID, so I don't know if they still have that much to choose from. I used to change it up a lot. I found the lobster thermidor good, but not great.

Thank you! Their first class products really do deserve world’s best. This was my first time using a DJI pocket 3 along with my iPhone - and in huge rookie error I really should have had more practice using it before I hopped on a flight like this. I had so much wasted footage because it wasn’t framed properly, and I generally wasn’t used to the functions. But, somehow I managed to get a reasonable video out of it. Thanks for watching! Shane

Can we sleep in the nap room during 2am-430am to go through the whole night?

Unfortunately no - TPR and the nap rooms will close typically around 2:30am - it remains open for the last 777 flight out and reopens again at 5:30 am. It is such a useful benefit too, it would be nice if they allowed longer usage. Thanks for watching! Shane

why sq306 instead of sq322?

Good question! When we booked it, 322 wasn’t being offered up as a redemption option, but found HKG to to SIN was - so booked HKG to to LHR which was A380 Suites from HKG to SIN and then 777ER First to LHR. So we ended up with 2 incredible flights instead of just one, spent some time in Hong Kong and maximised the amount of “luxury hours” in the points redemption. Was a great little work around with the options on the table at the time.

First time in First? why change into slippers before take off? its not really safe...and why change into PJ before dinner service. with all the turbulence, you are bond to spill some food or drinks on something you sleep in....🤣

Very fortunately, no! Only on special occasions though. However, this is my first time in Singapore First on the 777 product. What I didn’t post was my flight prior in Singapore Suites. I’ve flown First on United and American however my most memorable was flying Thai in their prime, it was upstairs on the iconic 747 headed to Paris from Sydney, we connected in Bangkok to a shiny new A380 - zipped through the airport on buggy to the spa for a massage. Yes it was a little unsafe changing into slippers early, but I value comfort. I always change into the pyjamas before I start watching a movie and before the dinner service for that exact reason, the dinner service in First is an event and can last for hours depending on the airline, and how fast you eat. Life is short, time to plan the next one I think. Thank you for watching! Shane

@@PlaneShane fair enough. I guess when you gotta flim everything, dinner service will drag. I fly enough that I rather eat just what I want and skip out on the desert and go to bed. SQ is legit
