Absolute legend. At least for us in Nordic countries starting riding bikes in the 80s. I had a Yamaha V-max and loved doing burn-outs and wheelies (which is not the easiest thing to learn on a V-Max) but I never dared to try the trick standing behind the bike with clogs (correct english? I mean the wooden shoes). I also remember from a Swedish motorcycle magazine when Arto did a review of the V-Max vs Z1300. The test consisted of different rounds like "wheelie", "riding backwards", "stability without driver" and so on... I think the Z1300 won, but then I think he was not 100% objective since he was sponsered by Kawasaki. But not a "serious" test anyways. Another stunt he did was riding a motocross bike down a ski jumping hill.

I had a 1979 Z1300. I miss that bike more than any other. Stunning in deep black, with a nasal exhaust note like no other....what a machine...

if i remember correctly, in a magazine article years ago Arto said, its easy. First you play pinball till you can get replays easy, then you play with your arms crossed, till you get replays, then you play backwards, until the replays, then you play pinball backwards with your arms crossed over until you get replays... then you get on the Z1300 =B^)-K

Artsi sano kuuluttajan mikkiin kun ei täällä saa esiintyä niin tulkaa illalla eduskuntatalon eteen katsomaan niin teen temput siellä. Päivä oli sunnuntai eikä meillä ollut mahista lähteä Helsinkiin mutta iltalehdistä luin että näin oli tapahtunut. Muistaakseni joku Ladakin oli ajettu eduskuntatalon rappusille. Ei voinut äijän tyylistä olla tykkäämättä. Ostin silloin pari Flanaganin paitaa toinen oli Artsi ja toinen Sliippari aiheinen. Mutta ne on jo matonkuteina, sääli.

I believe I saw this guy at 24 hours le Mans for motor bikes about 1983 ? He was doing stunts like these and much more but with woman passenger on the bike too. I never saw anything like it before or since.
