Any chance you could do a comparison video showing Sensecap vs Bobcat vs Nebra. Realise it would be tricky to do simultaneously with geographical proximity but hard to ascertain benefits of one over the other by watching different reviewers from different locations. Maybe run one for a week, get the stats, then swap it out for the second and so on? Cheers.

I got the Sirio SCO-868-6 Outdoor LoRa Gateway Antenna 6 dBi but this needed the RPSMA Male adaptor to fit the SenseCAP

Hi, Thanks for watching. No. Once you have followed the initial steps and its syncing then you can close the app and wait for it to sync

Hello @Johnshirley I have a quick question. I got my sensecap M1 2 days back. I made the initial setup but coming to the location it’s showing somewhere near African continent (ocean) with null null longitude and latitude. The blockchain hasn’t been fully synced yet it’s 99.69%. How many days will it take to get synced and I’m pretty much confused about the location? Please help me out…! #John

Hi. Basically Seeed had a sale of what they had in stock. It was announced on discord. in sale day you going a queue in a random position and had to buy a voucher. They were only selling what they had.

Hi John, very useful and clear video. I am based in LE4 Birstall area. Do you think this can be a good investment for passive income in the area? There are 2 people in the chain in my area hexagon. I am living in a terraced house, and I can fit the antenna on outdoor near roof.

Hi. Ideally you want a Hex of your own if possible. When I ordered my miner the hex I live in was empty but before mine arrived someone else setup one so I share the hex. I am averaging about 0.5 HNT per day. If you have someone in your hex you want to see who they are witnessing and then either go longer or shorter. So for me the other miner was going short and was seeing most people close by. So I went with a 6Dbi antenna to witness people he couldn't reach. furthest one right now is over 19km away. Get your self on the Helium Discord channel and also some Facebook groups if your not already. Its all about your setup and yes it can be a nice little passive income. But its not a setup and forget investment. If your on facebook or discord let me know and I can try and help more. Thanks

Yes there is a US version. RAK just offered me one in lieu of waiting for their miner for a few more months. However, I paid about $450 for the RAK and they want $950 for the SEEED. I only have to pay the difference..but could have in a week...decisions decisions...
