If you don't have a wifi provider you are going to want a sim card that you have in your phone that is active so it can use data like a phone and then install them were you get a phone signal

Hello Jymmy. I am really interested on this option of mining but I am in Brazil and as I checked on the map, there is only 1 place here, its Brazilia with 1 miner, doing very very badly. Sorry I should have clarified. I already spoke with my in-laws so it's going there. They have not arrived yet :( I have a friend that has a few set up but in an area that already has 5 others and he is absolutely killing it. I've looked at the map a lot and found similar setups as mine will be and I can't quite make out the reward structure. Mine will be about 500m apart. Some I've found get horrible rewards, some get rewards like in this video. I can only imagine it has something to do with the stability of their connection considering when they drop it can take a long time to get back in the network. I'll update this comment with numbers soon as they arrive.

In Mar 2021 when this was made, there were maybe 15k miners. Today, 31 July, there are over 100k miners. The first "halving" happens tomorrow. So that's 7x the number of eaters, and a pie half-sized. Do you suppose your mined "earnings" will therefore increase or decrease?

earnings increase and decrease. Individualized earning are worth more (more demand, less availability) and worth less (you get less pie for the same effort) but in general less pie for the effort but the pie you get is worth more trends to be more valuable but crypto values are always fluctuating and that has the biggest effect as you typically need to either find a store that accepts the crypto or you have to convert it and that is where its actual intrinsic value will be.

I plan to put it into it's own VLAN because yeah that IOT traffic will be going over your internet connection. In theory if someone were able to hack the miners, if it's on your home network someone could get access to whatever is on your home net. So yep firewalls / VLANs etc.

Hey, man used your code to order Rac 2. But I have a question. The nearest helium miner 4.26 Kms away and then there are 3 on the opposite side. around 9 km away. Then there is a cluster of miners in a city nearby with the nearest miner in that city to my house being 9 Kms away. will this Rac V 2 work for me? Would you recommend connecting to the modem by cable or wifi would be fine just keep it close to the topmost window? Am I correct in understanding that if there are absolutely no other hotspots around, and I set up 2 hotspots further than 350m apart, I will get these kinds of rewards? My specific example is 2 cottages on a lake, far enough away to be in separate hexes.

I have two possible locations for my first miner. One has two hotspots in the green zone but also one in the red zone. The second spot has no hotspots in the green zone but also none in the red zone. Which would be a better site?

Are your rewards still as good as they were? I have had mine installed for about a month now and im only getting like 1 a week with a window antenna 8dbi(just moved it to a roof hopeing it will get better). But whats your average now?

I have a large property with forested land, if i bought an indoor hotspot and a outdoor one to put in the forest more than 300 feet from my house, would I be able to connect them together to make a better profit?

If I have 3, is it better to have one them be at someone’s house which has another hotspot in their sweet spot? Or having it connected to my other 2 but outside the sweet spot (roughly 3km away). Which scenario would give best total results in your opinion??? Thanks

I just read in the description f the Nebra miner, that you have to pay to be able to watch its stats and performance? How does that work? If you go for the basic, you wont be able to se any info about it at all in the app?

what about saturation. i heard one video said, if too many people are mining in your city, that it would take away from the rewards from mining. other video's say the more people mining the better they mine... which is it ? big thanks , great video

Is there a misconception on reward ratio? Plz do a video on hexagon mapping. I think if there is more distance connection is better than dense connection coz the rewards gets distributed with that hexagon mapping n how many hotspot is in that map.

Hi in your example you mentioned you are rewarded 49 HNT and you stated its based on how much yours is worth. How do you find out how much its worth each day? Also, how do you get rewards, not sure I understand this part clearly?
