I was lucky enough to be a student of Sensei Bill in the 90s. Giant of a man but taught you to think and not just rely on violence. I remember him saying "there's nothing wrong in retreat, except for you dean, your legs too buggered so let's will out how you can survive best"

@@Le_Rappel_des_oiseaux This is Goshin Ju-Jitsu! If you do your research you`ll find out that it includes throwing, locking, striking and ground fighting! The technique you can see being demonstrated here is Kote Gaeshi, though there are various variations of this! It is actually skill training, rather that an easily learnt self defence technique.
