Thank you for the insight into the results I find by the work that I have the privilege of doing, assisting people to find their own awe within themselves. This informs my work, and deepens my appreciation for the yearning for awe and wonder within all of us.

I was talking about exactly this the other day with someone who struggles a bit with anxiety and feelings of being overwhelmed. I was explaining how humbling the feeling of being in awe of the most simple and beautiful of things, and used examples of things like light hitting dust, or water reflections, rainbows ect, and to try and view it with child like awe even if it is something you understand. Which I think is a key point in finding awe, as when we understand things they can tend to lose their wonder, so the ability to remain humbled and impressed, I think, aids in the ability to experience awe.

It would be interesting to learn about the neuroscience related to the five factor model of personality, as I feel that the feeling of awe is related to being high in the Openness to experience factor 🧠😃
