To all Demi fans who aren’t familiar with Senses Fail yet here’s a rundown of each album you should check out. From the Depths of Dreams: original emo all the way. If you’re struggling with any sort of depression and feel alone this album reminds you that there’s a wave of us who feel exactly the same. One Eight Seven is a fan favorite. Let it Enfold You: easily a Senses Fail classic. This whole album is amazing. The lyrics are deep. The struggle was even deeper for Buddy during this album. My favorite songs off this album have to be Let it Enfold You and Angela Baker and My Obsession With Fire. But honestly this whole album is killer. Give it a spin. Still Searching: This album to me is about struggling with everything around me from friends to relationships to my own mental health. My favorite song on this record is the one that introduced me to Senses Fail. It’s called The Priest and the Matador. I cannot even begin to explain how amazing this song is. I guarantee you’ll fall in love. Life is Not a Waiting Room: this album to me marks a shift in the way Buddy was handling his demons. The previous albums showed little to no hope in survival but this album shows you there is a way out, you just gotta fight for it. Some of my personal favorites from this album are Family Tradition and Blackout. Oh and this is a perfect album to listen to after a breakup. The Fire: Great album but it’s kinda hard to describe in words. This album is brutally honest, pretty sad, but soooo fucking good. I personally love Saint Anthony, Safe House, Nero, and Headed West. Renacer: THIS!!!!! This album is amazing. I listened to this on repeat and it honestly changed my perspective on life for the better. Renacer is Spanish for Rebirth. It opened my mind to a possibility of overcoming my misery. Buddy fell in love with himself, his now wife, and I think life in general. This album is heavier than the rest but it’s incredible. Closure/rebirth is my favorite off this album and Glass is beautiful. Pull the Thorns From Your Heart: super super heavy album. The lyrics are amazing. My favorite off this album is Surrender. If There is Light it Will Find You: you’re listening to it right now. It’s super upbeat, super catchy, and each song holds a special message. If you listen to anything from a previous album and then listen to anything from this album you’ll notice a dramatic difference in Buddy’s mental state. I am a die hard Senses Fail fan. I’ve grown with them in a way. They’ve helped me overcome my worst demons, and Buddy truly is an inspiration to me. Here’s someone who has overcome severe depression and anxiety, along with sexual identity issues, and extreme addictions. Buddy has come a long way and he’s helped sooooo many others. Thank you so much for anyone who read this. It truly means the world to me for Senses Fail to finally get the recognition they deserve. I’m so glad Demi blessed you all with this hidden gem. I really love the growth in Buddy's voice over the years. I was there for the screams in my youth but I really appreciate the way he's adapted to the passionate shouting he does through this album especially.
